According to an Instagram post I read KSH composed and first recorded this piece when she was 25 yrs old. (I don’t know Korean so I’m just stating what some other person translated in Instagram) She explains she didn’t want to loose the emotions from the moment when she first recorded this piece. So she is playing the piano now but the background noise is from the original recording about 11 yrs ago. You can hear her breathing and the movement in the room. I think this is so creative, is like recording in alternative universes, her mind is here today playing the piano but her heart and emotions are wherever she was at that moment 11 years ago.
