Nice & Very Informative Video Bro. One such and similar example, NWKRTC Bus( Gokarna to Mantralaya) connects western end of Karnataka to that of Eastern end. This Bus travels from Gokarna to Mantralaya( Via Kumta, Sirsi, Hangal, Haveri, Harapana Halli, H.B.Halli, Mariammanahalli, Hospet, Bellary, Moka, Alur and Adoni). This Bus starts Gokarna around 5pm in the evening and reaches Mantralaya in the next day morning 7am. It belongs to Kumta depot.
Am seeing this video from an APSRTC Volvo from Kakinada to Bangalore.... Idiots dint even stop for a tea break since it departed from Kakinada by 2:30pm... Next stop is Vijayawada by 9pm... Thanks for posting this video bhaai... Take care.

But definately tiresome sitting for such a long time... This goes via Rajmundry and from there to Vijayawada he is taking through all the village bus stands.... Nobody is even boarding this bus.... Crazy APSRTC... Our Karnataka Buses are too good compared to this Volvo B11R flight on road or more like crap on road.

yes it was cancelled long time back .. my mom's native is bidar .. i got to know afterwards that it was one of the longest route of nekrtc with that old model bus .. i heard it used to start at 12 pm from bidar and next day it used to reach 8 or 8.30 am at udupi..
Nice video bro.It runs daily at 10am from Kalaburgi and reached 3.30am next day Mangaluru.lBut very long journey.It should be short if runs via Sindagi,Bijapur,Hubli,Yellapur,Udupi.
To name a few: 1.Ashok Leyland buses marginally give better mileage average than Tata. 2. Maintenance is bit less. 3. Longevity of Ashok Leyland is much better than Tata. 4. Not fully sure though, Ashok Leyland could have given good pricing while bidding than Tata. 5. But Govt's have to procure all brands regardless of specific brand to support competition. 6. Tata's have good market share in North India and Ashok Leyland in South. Eicher being relatively new entrant. 7. But last but not least, bureaucracy and Govt in power (politicians) make certain choices depending on various factors they're in..

The first driver drives until the bus takes a halt for dinner after Pune (about 200 km) at @ 11:30 pm. He has to drive through the Mumbai and Pune traffic and the busy Pune-Mumbai expressway and ghat sections! Then the second driver drives from 12:00 am until Nippani (about 240 km) at 6 am. Then the first driver again takes over until Hubballi (about 160 km) at 8:30 am! It seems very unfair on the first driver.
