Agree, comes down to preference. It's like mattresses. Some people like a soft mattress they sink into; some prefer a mattress that deforms just enough to contour to their body but feels firm after doing that. Neither is better, it just comes down to what you like.
I'm really happy with the NB4 for daily runs on tarmac. I had major heel slip problems with the 1080 v11 and retired them after less than 100 miles. I'll never buy the 1080 again. The NB is a better shoe and much cheaper.
In my case, yes. I am landing mid to forefoot. But when I am walking in it, i can really feel the heel and it feels like my foot is sliding down (because drop feels higher although 8mm indicated) but the shoe has a very good amount of energy return for a daily trainer
I have bought a few Asics cushioning shoes this year ,plus the Magic Speed 3 that I already had. And the Nova Blast 4 was the only model that I had to run for around 80km to start loving the shoes. Until then , they felt just OK 7.5 out of 10 score Even the Magic Speed 3 was much better since the first run ... give some time to soften the middlesole of your NB4 and you will get used to then and will like the ride a lot.
Most people rant and rave about the Novablast 3 as being a versatile shoe that out performs 1080v13 and I found the NB3 to be basically dead bricks. I much prefer the 1080v13 and I am guessing I will feel the same way a bout the 1080v14 vs NB4
Good morning from Bangkok, Thailand.
The new 1080 V14 has been launched here for a couple day. Thanks for the review.
Got the NB4 Paris for 120 Euro and like the fit. Proably the best fit so far I've tried.
I’ve ran the last 30miles of a 100 and I have my 5km PB I’m my current NB4’s that’s versatile! 😊
NB4 much more versatile and durable than 1080
Please review NB More V5 guys ✌🏻
Both are good shoes but I’d honestly get along better in the 1080 v.13 given the softer feel, which I like.

I have it. But honestly, with my weight, it does not reduce much of impact on my feet.

The 1080v13 was a massive, massive departure from the previous 1080 formula. Wholesale writing it them off is just unnecessary.
I tried on a Novablast 4 and the heel felt very large and obtrusive. Does that disappear when running in it??
Yes

Novablast 4 way way way better almost a different shoe than 1080
880 v 14 moins cher que la 1080 v 14.

How do you know you'll feel the same if you've never tested the NB4? That just sounds asinine.
He didn't say he knows, he said he guesses. Big difference....
Who's asinine now?
