There is no other option for me, except for a laptop. Portability is what I need and what I want to have. Moving with a desktop PC and a monitor somewhere can cause lots of problems, especially when you don't have a car. I wouldn't mind spending a bit more for getting a portable device I can play on anywhere in the world.
I actually have a fully portable setup, a Zephyrus M16 for Windows and M1 Max MacBook Pro 14, I would most probably upgrade to the G16 2024 cuz it has better build quality than my M16, it feels like the M16 gonna fall apart at any moment lmao 😅
@Kriyome-py5dm not sure if I'm too late but I have a g14 and the fan noise is acceptable in my opinion although for the overheating aspect, it's close but not to the point of thermal throttling ALTHOUGH because the chassis uses aluminum , you can definitely feel the heat even if you rest your palms near the bottom of the keyboard whilst doing intense activities. You can undervolt both the gpu or cpu to your needs regarding thermals using either asus armoury crate or ghelper
how many frames do you get on helldivers 2 at max graphics? that’s the main game i’m playing right now and i currently have a 2020 acer predator helios 300 with a 1060 TI and i get around 26~30 frames on lowest settings :(
Bro 1060 died the year it was basically came out you can easily upgrade to a 2070 an been able to play or hell 30 series too. I understand it still barely works but when you buy the bottom of the bottom graphics cards an it's been 4 years you are basically destroying your machine to barely play a game you better off actually upgrading it

Don’t get the laptop. The fans are extremely loud and it gets hotter than any other gaming laptop. You will buy so hot. You can’t even touch a part of the keyboard or it will burn your finger.

Lol thats unplayable, not sure about mobile 4090s but the desktop ones can max out helldivers 2 on 4k res on 140-160fps
