I don't know how you guys got these people talking like this. This is the info I've always been looking for. Most of us never making to such lofty heights so it's an eyeopener when you see their techniques and how they see obstacles differently than other people.
Flea and RHCP had that effect on me very much so when we were teens in the early 90's - the Funky Monks video really blew me away in a deep way, not just the music which is amazing, but the lifestyle, attitudes, brotherhood and sense that they were tapping into something much bigger than rockstar egos and Hollywood hedonism. I became a musician (bass player of course lol) and still am today and I'm now 40. Great videos!
