It looks fucking fantastic. On a side note, it’s the earliest available live footage of Moonsorrow, 7 December 2001. I wish it had the original audio though
Yeah, I personally hate when they (any producer) put studio recording on top of live performance, what's the point in "live" then (unless it's some sort of compilation). Though, you have a glimpse of original audio at the very beginning of the video =//
@@AtedosJudging by the seemingly original audio, this song might have been the opener. The first instrumental track, Tyven, is a prelude to Sankarihauta and those two tracks, unless separately performed, were almost always played as the openers. A full concert recording might exist in the vaults though
Sorry, I've just uploaded it, and the video is blocked by RUclips for copyright reasons. It's really disappointing, cause the output quality was very good =(( I'll look for some alternative (platforms), so the work won't go in vain, and will share if I find something.
As mentioned before, I've finally completed the first batch of unreleased upscales for the Internet Archive (non-profit). You can find all the videos here: archive.org/details/@atedos/lists/2/4k-old-rare-music-clips-(ai-upscaled-%2B-manual-fixes)?sort=title Including "Mortiis - Parasite God", "Sturm und Drang - That's the Way I Am" and "Lacuna Coil - Heaven's a Lie (version 3)" You can use archive's built-in web player to view them directly in browser (make sure to switch to 2160p quality, though it can be quite laggy) or save them for future preservation. Also be aware that the Internet Archive takes much longer time to process files and changes, and those processed will have a copy with ".ia." at the end of the filename - these are typically made for database optimization purposes and are in 480p quality. I'll try and continue to update the list, if any more upscales won't find their way to RUclips.
