i remember my days back in middle & high school when we had to do stupid amounts of poem & literature analysis. everybody was so fed up reading about the life & problems people had 250 years ago. how is this relevant to me? the situation described in the poem is totally different to today´s world meaning the poem is simply outdated !! Does the poem really imply that the blue door has a special meaning or was it simply a blue door? One of our teachers thought so as well and instead, she gave everybody in class the opportunity to submit "modern art" (music videos, songs, short film .. anything really). The rest of the class and the teacher would then analyze it. I wish this song and the music video existed 8 years ago because this masterpiece is what i would submit today if i was in that situation again. I´d love to know how my classmates and the teacher react to something so deviant but truthfully genuine. i wonder if most people would even slightly comprehend what this is all about ..
