Also I forgot this in the previous comment but both Alex and Cole have a incredibly high regenerative healing factor making them damn near impossible to actually kill because give them enough time and there's also the fact that they can just instantly heal if they absorb or drain a person.
Besides he also has ice to keep contained and every attack she would hit him with he would absorb an overwhelm her semblance and aura. Death battle failed to mention that he is essentially beat the beast in the future by beating Kessler who said he could have beat the beast in his timeline and if you all remember beast destroyed a part of the moon.
I liked how Ironwood only mildly disagreed with how Infamous' government handled the situation. He'd totally make that same call if people from Mantle became Conduits all of a sudden and became a problem for Atlas...

That was retconned because the company decided to follow the karmic system again as they did from the 1st to 2nd. 77% of players were good. The rest were bad. Karmic-wise. It's why the narrative for the 3rd game felt weak and didn't have a strong enough evidence to why conduits were back again after the good ending.

The ting is about Conduits, you can have the right gene but it won’t guarantee it’ll activate. Not without a catalyst and an extraordinarily amount of energy. The Ray Sphere had that in spades, it just needed enough bio electricity to jumpstart the gene. And humans are abundant and full of the energy needed to flick the switch
