We have done this since the day thin pillars are out. But most decayed since we could get a second structure connected. And in the end it didn’t make a big difference, at least at ice cave, bc enemys where very fast at getting all of them via Photo Mode on the mesh…
@@Doth_ ice cave is terrible for it, raided a few where foundation support isnt even possible because they have so many foundies in the ice mesh which allows placement easier cant even uncryo stuff with how shit the meta is rn with cryochange so its so awful
any pillar works but tek is especially good, because if raiders blow up the metal structure attached to the tek pillar then the tek pillar might remain since it takes less damage, and it keeps blocking foundations
That's why I been on a no mesh builds server how is that fair if you got to do shit like this just to keep up lol yeah they leave the server when they realized shits glitched in the wall and think it's got cheater
@@Doth_ offi at least is always a numbers/moral game, and defense should have an advantage, but was definitely on the side of too strong without these shitter pillars lol, anyways everyone gonna be on conquest in about a minite so guess we see how that goes, assuming the playerbase isnt all banned first week xD
@@yoyoyogames9527 small tribes exists. If people arnt already playing there by choice they probably arnt going to play conquest. Only people playing it will be ones who want to claim an official server after they were wiped 5x already in this games lifecycle. You can just account share and dominate the numbers game like people do on small tribes.

I made a massive difference when I logged on to getting offlined. Fat fob outside but could still place turrets in the tunnel
if u place a thin pillar and lower it a bit, you can snap a quarter foundy in the mesh too

works with metal. Tek is better just because if a raider destroys the metal structure on it the tek pillar might remain

id agree offline defense isnt strong enough but online is fine. Most raiders just suck really bad
