I just saw the podcast interview with him when he's talking about why he wrote the song, and how he wrote it for Marisol when he was about to have a kid from a previous relationship. They were a new couple starting out. I didn't know that Marisol had told him that she didn't think she could do this relationship with him having a kid, and the fact that she gave it a shot and they've been together for over 25 years is amazing.
