I know most people think the little covered glass dish is for butter, but I use them differently. I have two of them, next to the kitchen and bathroom sinks to put my rings in so I don’t lose them.
Larimar is typically opaque. Amazonite can be slightly semi-transparent but is usually opaque as well. Chalcedony has an opalescent quality to it and typically comes in shades of blue to blue gray. THose earrings look like larimar to me. Larimar is only found and mined on an island in the Caribbean (can't remember which one right offhand, but there is only one source in the world for it.) The color is pretty identifiable and specific to that stone.
