I love the sikh religion and its message and i truly in my heart believe i am a sikh and agree with everything it stands for. Its not a religion but its the truth. Such a beautiful thing.

    He is a real sikh. Love this guy. He has a crystal clear knowledge. See how calm he is. This only proves that sikh is not only by appearence , a real sikh is by heart and soul. A very positive vibration from him. Same vibration may have been released from all sikh gurus. Waheguruji ka khalsa, waheguruji ki fateh.

    His message resonates within my soul. I have been a Sikh since birth, I knew what was right and wrong from within. The gurus put into words what I've always believed God to be - one.

    I am a buddhist, and this video is very touching to me though. I have studied Sikhism and have come to realise just how stalwart yet peaceful a religion it is. There are many similarities to be drawn between the teachings of Guru Nanak and Siddhartha Gautama.

      @@JM-dp1nlformer Catholic, then Buddhist, now Sikh here. I feel the same too - I love Siddhartha Gautama and respect him as a revered Teacher who taught me the dharma and meditation before I found Vaheguru. Now I realise Vaheguru is in all beings 💙🙏 Vaheguru Ji. Dhan Guru Nanak Dhan Siddhartha Gautama Ji.

    That last story was the prize. I have only been doing Sadhana for a little over a week and was drawn to seek more information. The more I delve into this practice/way of life, the more I know I am home. Funny thing, I was not seeking a new way, I was practicing Nichiren Buddhism, but did not feel "at home". I believe that I had to take many paths to reach this one. Blessings and thank you. Sat Nam.

    after essentially being brought up as a protestant christian and being very frustrated searching for truth, constantly asking more and more questions because something inside of me just yearned for truth, i think i have came to a releiving conclusion that all of these religious paths lead to the same thing :) or at least their original message did. all roots back to the kabbalah!
    im commenting because although im not a sikh its such a pleasure to watch your videos, youre an inspiration :)

    I'm catholic. I've question my religion many times. I've always love the positive energy that Buddhists and Sikhs have. I'm more spiritual then religious. But I was wondering do you have to be 100% Sikh to believe what they do? I don't want to forget about my religion because I do believe a lot of it. What I'm trying to ask is, is it wrong to be a catholic but also live somewhat like a Sikh or a Buddhist? And help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    • @simarjitkaur3411
      @simarjitkaur3411 8 лет назад +2

      You should enjoy your heritage of Catholicism and its beauty and you should definitely enjoy the spirituality of other religions like Sikhism and Buddhism. The wisdom of all religion only pushes us forward and in Sikhism it is a long journey but also very short- within a second, an action, to find God's Grace in this lifetime. Don't let labels get in the way.

    • @HawksFanForever
      @HawksFanForever 7 лет назад +6

      Sikhism is more about 'the way of life'. Don't get lost in titles - I am a Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, or whatever. Titles don't matter but the way you live your life matters. If something brings you peace & happiness then don't hold yourself back from being successful at life.

    • @jaitegsingh7793
      @jaitegsingh7793 7 лет назад +1

      IamJ3RSY Considering your comment was 3 years ago I'm not sure you'll see this. However, I'm still going to try to make somewhat of a response for you. Ignore my bad grammar since I'm typing this quickly.
      It isn't wrong to believe concepts of other religions. If you think being a Catholic is right for you then stay Catholic. Contrarily, it is recommended to be an actual Sikh and practice the methods of Sikhi. The only difference is that in my opinion you are likely to purify yourself in Sikhism better (not trying to offend anyone). Things like not drinking, cutting hair, accepting your body as it is, and meditating are more likely to support you on becoming religious.
      I hope my answer helped you.

      birinder Hey, I can see your comment was from 4 years ago so I won't expect you to see this. However, if you do see this then I'd recommend watching a channel known as "BasicsOfSikhi". It will provide you with all the answers you're looking for. Just type in a question into youtube followed by BasicsOfSikhi and the video should appear.
