Ok so remember this video is meant to help people who need the kind of gold that is being shown in this video. Of course many of us older players can make more money doing harder things or buying/selling rares etc. But I do get lots of questions from new and returning players that are not at that level yet and they need something manageable like this tactic that works quite well. Remember we want new people to feel welcome in this game to keep it alive. Too many UO players are stuck in a "1337" mindset and forget what its like to start from nothing.
A comment came from someone asking about my UI in this video but must have been deleted. In case anyone is wondering about the UI still - this is the enhanced client. Although I normally use Pinco's mod with the enhanced client which gives even more advanced features.
His sampire skillset was newly crafted and was still in the process of getting gear. Within a few days he was many times stronger. But the point of the video was to answer a question I get over and over about how to earn gold. This is still a great way to make money without getting into buying and selling. Now to do it as well as I did with this character it would take a lot of work. So if you’re not a veteran player I’d go with another player.
So my archer/bushido/chiv build has like 120 resisting spells because of the way I use it. My caster templates have at least 100-105 resist. But this sampire kills things so quickly in the methods I use it for like the one in this video, that it is not needed. I sometimes transfer it via a soul stone if I am using him for a mob that would be difficult otherwise. But the tactics I’m showing here I barely have to use any abilities or skills because the fan dancers just don’t hurt me. But yes some templates I do use resist magic
I’m sorry I’m not aware of your current UO knowledge. Do you know what a soulstone is and all that? I have like 15 soulstones and many characters have 120 max skill so I can make almost any template I want whenever I want
Doom dungeon would be a lot of work for midrange players. Remember not everyone is a veteran with every skill at 100 to 120 with multiple soulstones and billions of gold in gear. So yes I make much more money doing many things in this game but I also help a lot of new/returning players that are not gods yet who need something more attainable at their level.

I am on an OSI shard. That is Pacific. And there are greater dragons and such there even in this video. But my sampire can actually fight them as well with the right gear.
JJ Oliver that’s awesome, but the gear that’s required for a sampire of that caliber would not be something a newer player would have or could afford. When the GD hits you with fire breath on a 70+ fire resist, it dang near instant kills yah. Great video though. Thank you
@@chuckcrossan6371 The video definitely is a higher end of what one can expect. But I helped newer players and yes they earn less due to killing slower but many have used this same farming spot with different levels of builds and have found it highly lucrative compared to other means.
That sounds great. Can you make a video of that and time it so we can see confirmation of the gold per hour? Also we have to remember that not everyone is an endgame player so midrange people need to be able to do it as well. But I would disagree - the best way to get gold is to invest in buying/selling. hence why I have billions of gold which definitely did not come from farming balrons or fan dancers =)

Fan dancers can drop bokuto with splintering. This things easy can cost 5-1000m

how are you a sampire and almost die to a balron? you should be doing like 150 x2 a swing with your build and slayer with double axe special.

You must not be on an OSI shard, because the demon temple now has greater dragons, dragons and drakes heavy. Not easy to farm anymore.
