Even with his offense dropping off, it would’ve been ok if his D was the same as previous years, but it’s not. He seems disinterested. Send him to go play with his friend. That might help his mental state.

Interesting take , on Kyle Kuzma I watched kuzma play a lot here in dc , he is talented but I will say at times in a heated game he can be inconsistent at times in scoring and on the defensive end, ( the fight in the player at A HIGH LEVEL) playing small opponents teams he shines but in big games 👀

Kuz would be great!! All arounder but needs to work on his defense. It would take more than Wiggins. Dude has been bad and expensive...The Warriors will likely need to get a legit big to defend the best bigs while keeping TJD as a small ball center. The Warriors probably have to give up either Moody, Podz or JK as part of trades or to acquire picks for some size. Also, keep Klay if he's reasonable cost otherwise move on and Moody can take his spot. Looking forward to the Warriors offseason...they need to be aggressive to even have a chance to compete with the contenders.

Grant probably the best fit for the Dubs, can easily keep up with our pace and his offensive game aligns with ours perfectly. Still doesn't deal with our size problem.

Here is a wild trade idea, Klay to the Magic for a couple first round picks, that you flip to the hanks + Chris Paul or Wiggins for Dejounte, then trade the other to the Wizards with the 2025 1st for Kuzma. Dejounte replaces what we lost in Poole during the 2022 season (a little less scoring, but better defense and size) and Kuzma, as well as Kuminga become high energy wings. What we need to do more than anything is lock in on defense all year, while having people who can create their own shots and play within the system. DJM played for the Spurs and Kuzma played under Lebron, these guys should be are targets. Let Trayce be our big, and pick up a back up in free agency. Keeping Moody and Podz for their energy and switch up is great too. I do think that the move away from the vets, needs to happen, Steph is still Steph, and Dray can be very effective, but we can't count on Klay giving us what he did 5 years ago.

Not that I would do this, but I think on paper a Kuminga for Grant/Simons could work for both teams. Again, I'm higher on JK in the long-term, but if we are talking about getting a two-way guy like Grant 'and' a sharpshooter/ball handler in Simons. As the foundational players of the trade.
Adding Kuzma and Jonas Valanciunas, we'd have the size, rebounding and shot making to contend next year. Jerami Grant? Nope...he's a Tobias Harris...scored lots of points on bad teams in meaningless games....if you watch him, he's got no handle, no mid range, zero playmaking ability.

Kuzma doesn't want to compete on a good team. Washington was going to trade him to Dallas at the trade deadline but they didn't get the package back they wanted.
The front office was still going to let him go to Dallas because they know Washington is not at all competitive and they didn't want to stand in his way.
This nut said he didn't feel Dallas was a competitor and they weren't on his timeline. He wanted to stay and build in Washington.
Truth is he was the first option in Washington until Poole finally got it together after the All-star break.
If Dallas wasn't on his timeline the Warriors certainly aren't.
