The best part about F1 22 was the soundtrack. I am finally ready to enjoy the gameplay for a change in 23 haha

@@Continuum7 fax 2012 was soooo good. But here it uses the same motifs and the synths and strings along with the bass help make it feel a bit more grand. 🫶🏾
I am legit so happy that they've been keeping Ian Livingstone in over the last few years.
Although it's weird that my favourite thing about a racing game series is the OST in a few of them lol
I've been commenting a lot about these (i do mean a lot). And i think not only Livingstone does a great job, but also Mark Knight's compositions for 2016 and 2015. And if a game featured both of them as composer, it would elevate the game to a whole new level

It's been 10 years since F1 2013, finally a great soundtrack.
I am very lucky to know F1 Codemasters games, especially F1 2012, it was the first racing game I played on PS3, that's when I started to love the soundtracks, when I hear the third track the drivers come to my mind, how train. hard, give their best, fight, show what they are capable of and above all, their passion and love for this sport.

Last year I loved the actual songs so didn't listen to the ost but playing the trial I wasn't a fan of the remixes so went back to the ost and had to come and find it on youtube as well its soo nice

They should throw a "Can anyone match Vettel?" reference into the game but with Verstappen's name in the place of Vettel's as a homage to F1 2012. The situation is basically the same right now in the real world!

Yep, you were like one of the only ones in the Beta I could race fair and clean, side by side through a corner I think. I blocked so many Steam/EA/PSN/Xbox accounts of dirty drivers in the lobbies (blocked accounts have the muted logo besides them again so that you can track/identify them immediately later) it was getting pretty sad. The fact that it also happened in a Beta says quite a lot about the F1 Game MP community sadly. But at least the driving is fun again, so there's that.

At this point the F1 2012 theme might be THE most iconic melody created for an F1 game. And this is with plenty of other memorable themes existing in other games; F1 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016, F1 '06, Grand Prix 4, Grand Prix 3, F1 '97, F1 2009, to name a few.
Agree tenfold. I have fond memories of old F1 games like the GP series you mentioned, but F1 2012 became kind of an anthem at this point, and the fact the new games remix it over and bring a new flavour only makes it better. Kind of like Moon Over the Castle for the GT series. Wonder if we'll ever see it on the TV broadcast (They used the credits song from F1 2020/2021 in the last Sprint Race grid shot)
