Thank you so much for this. 7 years later, and IKEA still doesn't include any instructions on how to adjust the hinges, but thanks to you, my closet looks perfect now.
Clear instructions, thank you Kohn. I would have also liked to have seen how you adjust the height of the doors. After assembling the wardrobe, I had one door higher than the other.
All of the adjustment screws, except for the left to right adjuster, are Pozi-Driv, not Phillips. (The left-right screw is Phillips). Use a Pozi-Driv bit on these screws to prevent stripping the heads.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very informative and easy to follow, one of the best videos out there. You helped me fix the big gaps, in my flat pax wardrobe.
Excellent video. I'm struggling with adjusting the glass doors on two Billy bookcases. This video does not agree with the printed instructions but I can't argue with the results. Tnx.
Yes! I closed the dreaded gap! I was tightening and loosening screws and nothing was happening... who knew pushing the door backwards would have helped lol. Great video!
@@KhonCanHua No........ Only the centre inside screw needs loosening to move the door back into the wardrobe then re-tightened. The other two screws adjusting up/down and left/right work on the door position itself and not the hinge position which remains tightened.
i, I have had to trim my Ikea wardrobes 50mm at the bottom to get them to fit floor to ceiling in my house. The problem I have is some of the doors scrap on the carpet. I have adjusted the hinges as high as they go. Are there any other extra adjustable hinges I can buy? Or does anyone have any ideas? Thankyou
At 0.46 the lower left hand screw moves the complete hinge assembly either up or down as indicated by the tiny arrow showing top or bottom of the settings. Centre right hand screw adjusts the door right or left.

Thanks, works on the Liatorp model too, Liatorp just has fewer hinges!
Clear instructions, thank you Kohn. I would have also liked to have seen how you adjust the height of the doors. After assembling the wardrobe, I had one door higher than the other.
me too. how did you fix that please
If the right door is lower then put a coin or something underneath right side front corner to lift the wardrobe .it should work.

When I try to turn the adjustment screws they don’t turn. Do I need to loosen the mounting screws as well to make adjustments?
Yes. Loosen the mounting screws a little bit it will work
