Yay, you made it! This is the second video in my Celebrity Apex cruise ship's 7-night Caribbean cruise as a first-time cruiser. In my first video, I embarked on the first cruise of my life and got my sea legs with Celebrity cruises aboard their new Apex cruise ship.
This ship is gorgeous and I think I am really getting spoiled in our standard King room with floor-to-ceiling windows and plush furnishings. In this video, we get a look around the upper deck pool and solarium and find out some fun things you can do for nightlife like seeing a theater show or having a martini flight in the Martini Bar.
We have a fun port day In Belize City, Belize, and venture out to Cay Caulker to go snorkeling with Caveman Snorkel Tours. Our guides David and Lincoln were so helpful and taught us so much while feeding Tarpon and snorkeling in Shark Alley and Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Enjoyed the 2 videos about your first cruise - The Apex. We have been on over 50 cruises, including 26 on Celebrity. You are starting out on one of the best premium cruise ships at sea. We have sailed on The Edge in January 2020 and will sail on The Beyond in January 2024. So glad that you had a ball on your first cruise. We also loved Le Petit Chef - on Celebrity Summit. Even though the snorkeling tour in Belize looked wonderful, I would be concerned about the various gyrations (ferries, boats, tenders) that were part of your fun day. We would have taken ship’s excursion (even though it is more expensive) to take the uncertainty out of the experience. Missing the ship is NOT fun.

I started to watch your video because we are going on the Apex for the first time, but your video also convinced me to book a private tour with Caveman Tours for our excursion. You have such a fun attitude and I appreciate your enthusiasm!
Aww thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you love the ship as much as we did. I really think we set the bar high for my first-ever cruise. We loved our snorkel but planned it ourselves and didn't take it through the ship. I can't stress enough to make sure you know the water shuttle times between Belize City and Cay Caulker. It will definitely take an hour to get back to Belize City to your tender boat. If you pad that schedule with an hour of extra time on top of that, you will hopefully not miss the last tender back to the ship.

not for those conditions lol. I know they make some that would survive anything, but i also don't want to have to scrub it off. The search continues....

Love the informative video however you should not hold a starfish up out of the water ever.
