    Fresh Green Peas Dhoka Dalna Recipe
    Ingredients :-
    For dhoka
    cup green peas, 1 cup
    turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
    ginger paste 1 inch
    green chili 2 to 4
    mustard oil 1 tbsp
    Fennel seed 1 tsp
    Hing 1/2 tsp
    Salt to taste
    For Curry:
    6 to 8 cashew nuts
    1 tsp Poppy seeds
    1 medium tomato puree
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    1/2 tsp red chili powder
    1/2 tsp cumin powder
    1/2 tsp coriander powder
    1/2 tsp garam masala
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1 cup water
    2 tbsp mustard oil
    Salt to taste
    Method :-
    In a bowl soak cashew nuts and poppy seed for 30 minutes
    Make fine paste in the mixer grinder
    Grind peas with ginger and green chilli into a coarse paste.
    Heat mustard oil in a pan, add fennel seeds,hing and sauté.
    Add green peas paste and salt. Cook for a minute.
    cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.
    Transfer to a greased plate, flatten it, and let it cool.
    Cut into small squares and fry until golden brown. Set aside.
    Prepare the Curry:
    Heat mustard oil in a pan, add bay leaf dryred chili ,cinnamon stick, green cardamom and cumin seeds.
    Add tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder sugarand salt Cook until tomatoes are soft.
    Add poppy seed and cashew nuts paste Cook until spices release oil.
    Add water and bring to a boil.
    Add the fried dhoka pieces and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle garam masala and ghee turn off the heat.
    Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
