Mr.x was the scariest one in my opinion. He was perfect and RE:2 remake is the scariest one to me. The way Mr.x moves slowly and silently just always pressing forward like there's no rush and he seems so indifferent it's very intimidating. Everything else about the game felt awesome

Can be, but usually, he plays a bit offline to get the game without distractions, and during the next stream, it goes much better. You could clearly see that he was missing very obvious clues at some point, something kicked in in his brain as usual. So it's very much normal for him to have such a reaction during the first stream playthrough.
SOME of us don't WANT to play through dozens of older games when this is the first resident evil we've really wanted to play. I plan on going back to play the 2 remake and village after requiem, but without requiem and all its hype is have NEVER picked this franchise up because I thought it just wouldnt be able to hold a light to silent hill. Its not his type of game but man, it was rough watching it live. I remember chat telling him to break the vase in the room since it usually has ammo and it took him about 7 straight mins to find it. Even worse was how chat was saying so many different things that it was confusing him, such as 'read item for clue' when he doesn't even have the item yet or 'kill the fat zombie' when he doesn't need to and its waste of resources. I really hope he gets through it because its such a good game

2:43:18 you did really good for this being your first game....a lot of the people that are sharing tips with you are sharing learned behaviors from all the previous games...the fact that you played back and forth between characters got an inventory upgrade should be close to a good weapon upgrade soon you've progressed a fair bit....i cant say how much in comparison to the end of the game as I haven't gotten this one yet....I really hope you do stream some more it is entertaining while also frusterating thinking about how often you move too quickly through empty rooms without looking at everything
One thing you learn from all resident evil games...Check everywhere ....check everything.... pay attention to what is in the pics even in the background ....and all the letters that you find give you clues.

I play all games in the aim of not missing anything...trying for as close to 100% completion as possible. I was yelling at him trough the screen the whole time ... "You missed it" "Go back!" "you are skipping areas to search!" lol You would think he would be great at it due to his ability to multitask with the streaming, paying attention to chat and stuff.....

I think 33% or less of the documents in the games are actually necessary puzzle solutions. But that is still enough to make it worth keeping an eye out for them.
Despite your commentary about your play, you played the game well especially for someone's first RE experience. The only real boneheaded move was throwing away the ammo despite the message telling you it was permanent. If I could give a couple tips I'd say this... read and relax. The game rewards reading notes and tutorials and the rest of the items. It's worth taking the time not to skim, but to understand. It goes beyond lore. The other tip would be, use your map or inventory screen to take a breath and relax a bit. These games are intense and you needn't be subjected to the stress 100% of the time. You started to pick up on some important things, like a single shot to a zombie's head can stun it for enough time for you to pass by it. You don't need to empty the mag in every case. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Yeah. This is probably the easiest resident evil game so far in terms of the puzzles and level design. Some of his confusion is funny but I guess it is his first game.
Too scary for me. Lol I remember when resident evil 1 hit the playstation. some dog jumped out of a window early in the game and I tossed my friends controller up to the roof he was so pissed haha
if I wasn't a serious RE fan I might drop it too. gameplay loop in re4 and re2 remake was way more engaging. I already got all achievements for this because it's so linear and easy.
@Joe-qs6kpwith infinite ammo insanity mode is just as easy as casual. I have to agree with the comment that re9 is easy. First playthrough it didnt feel linear but once you know what to do, games a pretty easy 100% achievement/platinum trophy compared to other re games.

You could clearly see that he was missing very obvious clues at some point, something kicked in in his brain as usual. So it's very much normal for him to have such a reaction during the first stream playthrough.

Its not his type of game but man, it was rough watching it live.
I remember chat telling him to break the vase in the room since it usually has ammo and it took him about 7 straight mins to find it.
Even worse was how chat was saying so many different things that it was confusing him, such as 'read item for clue' when he doesn't even have the item yet or 'kill the fat zombie' when he doesn't need to and its waste of resources.
I really hope he gets through it because its such a good game

2:43:18 you did really good for this being your first game....a lot of the people that are sharing tips with you are sharing learned behaviors from all the previous games...the fact that you played back and forth between characters got an inventory upgrade should be close to a good weapon upgrade soon you've progressed a fair bit....i cant say how much in comparison to the end of the game as I haven't gotten this one yet....I really hope you do stream some more it is entertaining while also frusterating thinking about how often you move too quickly through empty rooms without looking at everything

One thing you learn from all resident evil games...Check everywhere ....check everything.... pay attention to what is in the pics even in the background ....and all the letters that you find give you clues.
And if u feel stuck just go to the save room, open map and then plan ur next move 😅

@PulseOfMe Im the opposite ... the fast paced competitive shooter games are where i panic and lose it. The RE puzzle type have always been my strong point. I play all games in the aim of not missing anything...trying for as close to 100% completion as possible. I was yelling at him trough the screen the whole time ... "You missed it" "Go back!" "you are skipping areas to search!" lol You would think he would be great at it due to his ability to multitask with the streaming, paying attention to chat and stuff.....

Proving Asmongold wasn't lying. He's never played an RE before.
Despite your commentary about your play, you played the game well especially for someone's first RE experience. The only real boneheaded move was throwing away the ammo despite the message telling you it was permanent. If I could give a couple tips I'd say this... read and relax. The game rewards reading notes and tutorials and the rest of the items. It's worth taking the time not to skim, but to understand. It goes beyond lore. The other tip would be, use your map or inventory screen to take a breath and relax a bit. These games are intense and you needn't be subjected to the stress 100% of the time. You started to pick up on some important things, like a single shot to a zombie's head can stun it for enough time for you to pass by it. You don't need to empty the mag in every case. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Yeah. This is probably the easiest resident evil game so far in terms of the puzzles and level design. Some of his confusion is funny but I guess it is his first game.

@Joe-qs6kpwith infinite ammo insanity mode is just as easy as casual. I have to agree with the comment that re9 is easy. First playthrough it didnt feel linear but once you know what to do, games a pretty easy 100% achievement/platinum trophy compared to other re games.
