Some Interesting go-to commentating for Jack and Matt. "no no no! get that salad outta here!" "Sullingers...getting...burgers!" "Sullinger with the float!" "Sullinger cold like Ice cream! How sweet it is Jack!" "Sullinger with the bubble gum tear drop!"
Yea but if the guy's cardio is off as he says it is right now, how long is it realistically going to take for him to return? Like as far as I can tell cardiovascular endurance is not something you build back up in a couple of days.
Easy 12 an 10 everynight on this team. Big tings! Can run the post an shoot 3's. I'm ready for this man return. If him an jv play well together on D we could have a decent front court finally.
would be great if toronto would stop signing guys to give them a year off. is this a vacation destination? we gave Carroll the biggest contract on the team last year and he didnt play first 3 qaurters of the season. now we repeat ourselves with sully this year. can we sign some healthy bodies that can finally contribute starting day 1. thank you raptors.
I've been excited for him to join the team, but man, he can't even keep up with Jakob in practice! Hope his legs come back in a big way or he won't be able to guard anyone.
Lol wish there was a vid. Nah, in this interview he says hes struggling to cover Jakob as is. Again, hopefully he gets his legs back but even then I don't know that'll be enough in today's 3 point nba
Don't want to seem overly negative here, but I gotta say I feel pretty unimpressed that he's saying he's totally winded, slow, that his cardio is off from being out too much -- that he said that "you can do all the biking, elliptical, etc., in the world, but doesn't replace your own two feet." I'm not sure if we should really agree with that? While this guy was off shouldn't he have been hitting the bikes etc., hard, to keep his cardio up, in anticipation of being an NBA player again?
I mean -- do you think Lance Armstrong has good Cardio? Or if he was in a basketball practice would he be going, "I'm totally winded! A bike is not like being on your own two feet!!"
All Sullinger is saying is he did the biking , elliptical and treadmill but he still needs to get in game shape that will only come by playing 5 on 5 on the court.
You act like playing basketball is running in a straight line at a constant rate. He said it himself you can do all the other types of conditioning but it's not the same as playing the game. If you can't see why playing the game would have a different affect on you body than biking then maybe you don't watch basketball.
That burger tweet will forever be my memorization of Sully.
i was ROLLING
Rudebwoytroy "Bruno runs out of locker room crying"
"Casey doesnt know what to do and starts yelling at JV"
I was deceased.
Where did you see/read all of that?
lambo31 someone made a fake Doug Smith account on Twitter.
What was it? haha

"I don't mind banging bodies" This is why he is a starter.
He would be an immediate upgrade over Siakam and Bebe at the 4
i Mean we had fuckin luis scola starting last year

Sully is such a character. He'd be great a network personnel after his ball career is over
love this guy's personality, he's gunna fit in great
this guy is only 24. I'm sure he's going to bounce back and continue to up his game.

Man he is WINDED hahahaha
April!!!!!! fuck man what happened to december
Kevin Mervart he's joking, he's talking about the first playoff game
Sulli needs to lose some weight and work on cardio .hope he plays better then when he was with boston
I have a feeling Sully isn't going to be a factor when he comes back. I feel he's not going to make a difference he sounds out of shape as usual
We're 26-13 with no actual starting PF, and pat out for a couple games....can only be positive to add this man. Can't wait! Let's get it sully!
This man can't keep up with Jakob? LOL. Bruh someone get this man on a daily running schedule
Jakob is twice as fast as JV tho
Lmao the dude had a cast on his foot for like 3 months, what do you expect
man said I don't mind banging bodies. lmfao

Robert Halmagyi 'Is this a vacation destination?'loooooool
youre right though
To everyone worried about his conditioning.... RELAX! Give him another week or 2 and he'll be back to speed
well if I was making 6 million for less than a year of work...I would be figuring it out pretty quick.....
I've been excited for him to join the team, but man, he can't even keep up with Jakob in practice! Hope his legs come back in a big way or he won't be able to guard anyone.
Mike Lee did a video surface of him not keeping up with Jakob?

Mike Lee thanks b, I don't got my headphones.
Coach gotta attach a burger to Jakob, that get him going.
DeMar DeGoatzan lmao
Jakob looks pretty fast though running down the court in games. Faster than JV.
can anyone tell me when this man gonna be starting?
oh...if you can call that work...
doug smith lol
We the champs
O-H-I-O

I'm frankly not sure that it's not possible to stay in the same Cardio shape from a bike and other training devices, as it is from running.
I mean -- do you think Lance Armstrong has good Cardio? Or if he was in a basketball practice would he be going, "I'm totally winded! A bike is not like being on your own two feet!!"
Sure there's different muscles in play, but c'mon man.
