Fun Fact: Porto is not nestled along the *banks* of the Douro river, it's just on the north bank. When you cross the D. Luis bridge you're in a completely different city, called Gaia. But you get a pass because it was your first day, I guess you know that by now. 🙂

We live in the Chicago area & we flew out of O’Hare airport to Lisbon in the summer of 2023. We also got to the airport early and the airlines do not open their entrance lines till 4 hours prior to departure. I want to go back. We are debating about either going to Lisbon and Nazare or Lisbon & Porto. Which Airbnb did you rent in Porto?
