I reckon that you can get some of that play/slop out of the bucket on the quick attachment by putting something like a little metal pipe or something that is just a bit bigger than the top screw on the bucket. If its just a snug fit around the screw but just small enough that the quick attachment can snap on around, then it should act like a bushing and there should be no more play on the bucket which could be annoying. I am getting very interested in this loader to add to my collection (that I only started recently lol) and after watching your previous upgrade video, I reckon that the rear suspension/articulation upgrade would definitely be a must cos these things will act like a rocking horse on uneven ground and lose grip and pushing power very easily. So far I have.. Huina 1592 excavator brand new. No upgrades yet. Huina 1554 bulldozer brand new but I will be doing a few upgrades like lead weights inside the body and wiper blade extensions on the tracks for more grip Huina 1573 dump truck also brand new and no upgrades yet. Huina 1535 excavator also new but I didnt like the digging controls after I got it but the 1592 has the same controls on the sticks like the real thing which is why I bought that afterwards but at least I have the grab and the breaker from the 1535 that will fit it so its not too bad. I also have a Double E E591 A40G Volvo Dumper on the way and I probably would have bought that instead of the Huina 1573 if I knew that there was a proper 6 wheel drive version out there cos the Huina one only has drive in the rear end 2 wheels and is basically useless cos of that. Probably wouldnt even drive over sugar spilled on a flat table from what Ive seen on here. My biggest issue is trying to find time to "get them dirty", cos of work and weather onmy days off recently so I will have to see how they operate before I do any upgrades on them besides the bulldozer. Cheers for the upgrade ideas and looking forward to more vids on these wonderful scale models (not toys lol) in the future. IDB
Thanks for your comments, Glad you like it and are a fan of these machines, I've manage to take a but of free play out of it with some washers and a bit of rubber tubing which is a bit of model fuel tube. It's much better now but did have some free play even before i put the quick hitch on it.
I heard you mention. You upgraded the gears on the loader. Do you have a link to where you bought the gears from? I have the same Huina loader. I also want to upgrade it. I was thinking of upgading the electronics as well. Any ideas? I've seen a video of someone modifying their Huina with a 3S brush ESC. But, it looks very involved. I'm not that mechanicly inclined . A motor upgade would be nice. Any suggestions?
Thanks for watching my video, if you look back in my list of videos you will see a video where i show putting the upgraded gearboxes on it as well as a few other items, to take out all the electrics and replace with a better ESC is very technical & yes it's extremely involved to get it right and something you would have to spend a lot of time getting right, here is a link for the gearbox upgrades & you need two of them, the rest of the upgrades can all be found on the same website by typing in 1583 or 583, Gearbox link, magomhrc.com/en/huina-583-hydraulic-conversion/1697-huina-583-traction-kit.html
I brought it for 378 dollars. The tires and rimms cost another 130.add all the suspention ,gears, motors hats another 200..thats around 700 + dollars. You could easily spend 300 more .that would put you a thousand dollars in on this loader .
I had made my own mast & forks but they where to heavy for the loader being 13 inches long I wanted to lift cars long ways but steering sucks, even the upgrade is to slow, I want to mock up a servo, start with 25kg will do 100kg if that's not fast enough
