    Brickwork......looks awesome Mate!! Excellent and informative vid man. As for the bandsaw, I have very little knowledge either, but from my previous experience in life with sharp steel travelling at high speeds as a timber cutter and sawmiller, I would err on the side of caution and bin it. Those kinks will have weakened the steel, which is not ideal under high tension and speed. The last thing you want is that blade exploding at full noise with your hands beside it.

    Nicely done, I'm a bit worried about than description of the end grain opening up and closing under the knife, sounds like a good way to breed nasties in the cutting board to me... But I really do like the look of end grain cutting boards, and your brickwork pattern is fantastic!. PS - I didn't start the comment with Brickwork because I am contrary ;)

    • @JNDCreations
      @JNDCreations  3 года назад +1

      From what I understand, it also pushed out all the nasties mate. Commonly referred to as butchers blocks they get used by butchers a lot because of this.

    • @Goalsplus
      @Goalsplus Год назад

      Yes, there's talk about germs breeding in end grain, however, from my experience in commercial kitchens, everything is apparently a breeding place. Most kitchens will not allow any timber at all. Even those plastic chopping boards have knife marks where lurgies can lurk. The thing is most rules are based upon staff being untrained, morons, evil bastards, lazy or other such states where cleaning is not done correctly if at all. Wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and dry. It must be allowed to dry.

    • @JNDCreations
      @JNDCreations  2 года назад +2

      Thanks mate! Depends where you are in Aus, but you can generally get a lot off fb market place. This stuff I got from a local supplier Austim. Bunnings also stock Jarrah and other bits depending on your location.
      Gum could give you drama because sometimes they are packet with gum vein, but if the Timbers clean then it should be good. I find camphor to be on the softer side so I’m not sure how that would go. Plus I don’t know if the scent would taint the food at all?

    I'm gunna say no to that band,
    Those plastic deformations happened because the force was enough to change the' or the positions of the grain in the metal. Hence the permanence of them.
    Using this band would put it at risk of snapping in use, as even under tension the grain structure in that particular section would still be deformed or non uniform to the rest of the band. Every time that section passes a bend it will stress differently to the adjacent sections causing different bending behaviour likely leading to failure of said section.
    Or
    Yeah na f it, don't use it mate👍

    Great video......but WTF is with that music......???? I had to wear earplugs to watch that video. How about a bit of Nat King Cole or Roy Orbison ..

      😂😂 you know RUclips has a volume control hey? No need for ear plugs. If I used music from Nat King Cole or Roy Orbison you wouldn’t be able to see the video because it would be removed for copyright infringements.
