My S-Rank Sonic Special Stages are: Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, CD, 3D Blast Saturn, Heroes (both versions), and Mania.

Sonic Colors DS special stage music changes on each lap, you hear the first lap song and the special stage are 3 laps
Sonic Colors DS special stages is basically a mix between Sonic 2 and Blue Spheres, you run on an tube and the goal is take balls of a specific color that change every lap
I don't know if you already played Sonic Colors DS, but it would be great if you give it a chance, on my opinion, i prefer the DS version over the Wii one because everybody is there and it had a Super Sonic boss
