This scene was sad to me, because this couple, JHW/LSH portrayed their characters so well! YGDD loved each other so much, yet, DD felt like she had to distance 💔herself from him, because of his upcoming engagement to Cho Sa Ra and it was breaking her heart [she loved him despite his amnesia, knowing that he would regain his memory, eventually and forget the memories they had shared, yet she didn’t feel right taking him from another woman so she could be happy],💔the only thing she could do at this point was to act like she didn’t love him and get him home before he got sick continuing to wait for her in this cold weather! When YG finally saw DD, he was so happy, but DD was heartbroken seeing him because she had to lie to him and that was not who she was! Nevertheless, she got him home and neither of them were happy about the outcome and YG became ill in the process and although Cho Sa Ra took care of him, she didn’t understand why he went to Mount Nam on such a cold, wintry night when he didn’t meet her at the jewelry store as promised to see their engagement rings! Now YG’s heart is feeling resentful toward DD for not meeting him and he’s confused, because in his heart, he knows she loves him, but why won’t she admit it, so he can get out of this engagement?He doesn’t want to make this engagement official with Sa Ra; he only wants DD as his one and only Love without looking like a two-timer! Unfortunately, YG had to go through with the engagement, because he promised it and he was a man of his word! Now what? He and DD were totally miserable for all practical purposes! YG may have been his 22 year old self in mind, but his true 41 year old self had taken over his 22 year old heart💝and his love for DD would never wane or leave, because she was all he would ever want and need, and that was an unadulterated fact! 👍🏼♥️💚💜♥️
