The customization that you can do with M550i is much cheaper than an M5 and if were talking about power a M550i custom downpipes alone can boost that car to 700 hp easily

I also think that the M550i is the perfect sweet spot. However my biggest concern is a little Detail at 2:26 when you mentioned the fan is still on allthough you werent drivin hard/fast. The N63B44 engine is from a reliability perspective one of the worst if not the worst engine BMW ever build. it is on the market since 2008 and Im sure they modified it by now where they could but in its core it is still the same "hot V" design where critical components such as turbos suffer from insufficient heat management causing a variety of problems. Much safer option would be a 540i, BMW can for sure build 6-inline cylinder, but looking at other youtube reviews and forums about their v8, it seems to be a complete nightmare.

Could even be down to the car needing to run a higher temperature to meet the stringent emissions too given the fan kicking in on the odd occasions

Guys real talk the m5 comp looks better is more special, its mich faater when you pish it hard its fastee in real life use, the downside is the harsher ride, angrier everyday ise, and the price. For one car the m5 comp is the better car cause it looks special its supercar fast, if you can afford 2 caea buy and m550i and one m2 comp. Peqce
