Great video my friend.
Have you pressed W / N button to Narr ( Narrow ) already to make baofeng UV-5R have more sensitivity ?
Hi. Thanks for the comment. I didn't change bandwidth in this video.
TG-UV2 IMO has also superheterodyne receiver....
Yes it does! That is exactly why I have bougth TG-UV2 PLUS version instead of any baofeng, despite the fact I it costs x3 more.
Użyj powercombiner 1:6 lub inny, będziesz mógł wszystkie podłączyć do jednej anteny. Unikniesz przełączania anten
Dziękuję Ci. Nie miałem wtedy przełącznika antenowego.
Hey, it is not fair to compare the Quansheng with a rubber duck to the Wouxun connected to an external mag mount!
I agree - in my tests of Wouxun KG-UV8D vs. TG-UV2 (using same, outdoor antenna), the Wouxun received nothing and the Quansheng was 100% copy. So I was very surprised to hear that the Wouxun could even possibly outperform the Quansheng superheterodyne, although I'll admit it was a diferent (more expensive) model of Wouxun in my tests.
Quansheng to też jest superheterodyna. Zarówno Wouxun jak i Quansheng da zrobione na TA32136F.
Puxing to także superhetrodyna zrobione na tym samym.
Your videos are excellent!!! I hope you will make more. There are many HAM radio videos on RUclips, and I believe your videos are among the very best. Please make more. I have NO idea why anyone would give you a thumbs down...but people are strange...and sometimes stupid. I'm giving you BIG THUMBS UP!
Keep up the good work. Best wishes

P.S. We actually have a Cat. (4) possibly a (5) Hurricane hitting our state RIGHT NOW! How about that for needing a HAM radio in an emergency!? I'm in the clear, but just North of my location, they are going to get HARD!
It would be great if you would send a reply, I'd love to hear a bit more about how radios work in your location, because I am new to HAM. That's why I'm watching radio vids on RUclips.

As far as I know the organizations like ARES and RACES organize activities in case of emergency in the USA and also hams provide their help in coordinating marathons and other events.
Here in my region we do not have large scale nature disasters that may require assistance of amateur radio society.
Hams mostly talk to each other. Some participate in volunteer organizations and organize civil communication for search-and-rescue operations for example when someone gets lost in the woods.
Hi R2DMD,
thanks for the tests. Would you mind comparing performance on 70cm as well?
As for the results, the reason why you put UV2 behind UVD1P might be different speaker design, on UV2 it clearly pronounces mid-highs which tend to manifest as more noise, but in reality it might not be the case.
UVD1P from what I have read is also fairly susceptible to desensing and the firmware is "unstable".
But then, UV2 isn't CHIRP friendly and never will be. :-/
Thanks for watching. I sold Baofengs, so I cannot shoot any videos with them any more. There is another video that might be of interest to you: ruclips.net/video/H8EgM-U0cEU/видео.html
In that video I tested the radios at 70 cm band as well.
Bro, are you on HapmSphere V1.0, 3.0 or 4.0????
I'm not using HamSphere so far.
Wouxun wins hand down!
