    Ha never seen a horse vaccumed before. Great to see straw bedding is still used.

    This is almost as much a horse spa as a stud! Very fortunate stallions stand at stud here. I wonder if the Dubai-owned stallions in Ireland and Australia get all this. I always thought horses that live at Ashford Stud live the life of Riley like at Jonabell Farm.

    I wonder if the mares are so well cared for as these stallions, because if it wasnt for the mares producing foals the stallions would be useless wont they.

      They get as good if not better treatment. Only difference is that mares usually go in the same paddock together as they won’t fight nearly as much.

    I love everything except the bathing every day, and striping their coats of oils every day. Surely it isn't everyday or you risk skin issues as they need some of the oils in their skin. You can absolutely make a horse shine without a bath. I do it for my young Stallion, and my former 20 plus senior gelding that recently passed, all the time. Even with a winter coat in.

    Pulling horses' manes out...???
    They are alone all the time. Inside and outside.
    Walking in salt water, doing this and that when you tell them. You're in their faces non stop. Meh, they're just big money to you, sorry, I forgot this is called "industry".

    So they’re in their stalls from 3:30PM-7AM? That’s total cruelty, especially for a freaking stallion. Horses only sleep for an hour or two. They’re bored AF

  • @RoosLoveDieren

    I find this very horse unfriendly. These horses are way too young and live very unnaturally for a horse. I feel sorry for them, all horses in the cruel race industry. They become totally apathetic (senseless, closed off to their feelings) to cope with all the stress and their bodies will be worn out and sore by the time they are finally full grown. I hope you change your ways.

    • @meganproffitt424

      These horses live 25-30 years... Go for Gin recently passed away at age 29. Godolphin has a horse pass at age 25 back in 2016. I find your comment very horse unfriendly and very uneducated. I also find your comment to be based off of propaganda and feelings more than it is based off of facts and first hand knowledge of the industry.

    • @wolfgang4043
      @wolfgang4043 2 года назад +1

      They are being groomed all the time. They're mostly alone. Even if I were filthy rich I wouldn't want an involuntary spa like this, telling me what and when I do something for years. I find this terrible.

      @@wolfgang4043 Well good thing you're not the horses because the horses (who are living this life, not you) aren't complaining.

      Ask the stallion handlers how apathetic they are ! 😂😂😂
      Running around a paddock, serving mates….how does that wear them out ? They live much longer than they do in the wild !
