I get what Daniel was saying and I wish Luke woulda put his feet to the fire about it, but nothing is owed to stipe. Unfortunately, Joanna had 5 title defenses and rose put it on her, Cody had 0 title defenses and got his rematch. In stipes mind, this is how ufc works, long reigning or popular champion fighters get rematches. Daniel owes stipe nothing, but these managers for these fighters owe the fighters better and need to start implementing rematch clauses for champs. Some protection
I love DC, but I really don't like how he acts like he just starched Stipe, and Stipe doesn't deserve a rematch/title fight. Stipe was winning that 1st round until DC caught him with that punch. I mean its not like DC had a clean knockout, he just happened to catch Stipe with a punch Stipe didn't see coming. Stipe has the most title defenses in UFC heavyweight history. How in the hell does he not deserve an immediate title shot???

D.C right after he lost at 214 he was going up to fight at HW and win a belt and try to get the third fight. But then the failed drug test gave him the belt again at LHW.
