    A real and true expert of survival
    At the beginning he removed the snow to keep himself warm then lighted a big fire
    To keep the area warm collected all the wood the whole nights supply
    Heated the ground in two locations
    With the far is closer to his shelter
    While building it kept him warm
    Then the last fire lasted all night respect

      rotflmao, this is a camping video. Has nothing to do with survival. Let him walk out into the woods with out all the toys, make a fire and survive just the night . lmao

  • @hiuto2
    @hiuto2 Год назад +7

    He found a 1/2 cord of wood, sawed it, stacked it and then split a bunch of it? that would take more than several hours at least. To find true seasoned wood not rotted away in the center as a tree fall is a miracle, you are blessed.

    This is a good lesson in preparing a camp for very cold weather. You cut enough wood, used enough boughs to make a bed and warmed the ground to make a proper base.

      Plus, when you put spruce branches on the heated ground, there is a pleasant coniferous aroma.

      That’s actually extremely dangerous. You should never warm the ground like that so close to trees. You are gonna burn the trees roots and possibly light up the entire tree

    My primitive history includes overnight snares to catch feral pets for food inside Detroit .
    Sleeping on cold hard cave mud or sand that hasn't had moisture so long it had gypsum
    crystals formed in fist-sized clumps. Do put a slab between me and an adjoining abyss.
    Also ignore any bats after turning off my headlamp. As I'm not dead enough yet to feed
    resident Troglodytes.
