I will gladly eat my words, Kidd has proven me wrong. I did not believe in him. Him trusting Hardy, benching THJ after his usual erratic plays, making great adjustment after great adjustment, calling the right timeouts, reading the clutch minutes as great as anybody, challenging the right plays. He’s not as stubborn as he used to be. It is possible to grow from your mistakes, hats off to him.

Growth and adjustments with a new team takes time. Yall were crucifying him way too early unfairly.
He was never stubborn. He did all of those things back then. Just not at the time YOU or any other Kidd doubter wanted to. What you see on TV is not the same as behind closed doors with the staff and players.

Well said. And I agree. I’ve been a huge THJ for a while, but Kidd putting in Hardy was a great call and his coaching as a whole in these playoffs has been extraordinary.

@@Simboy93 the regular season is the time to give your bench players minutes so they get more experience. Spoelstra does that a ton with the Heat.
Kyrie can’t win without Luka and Luka can’t win without Kyrie. They’re like Batman and Superman, a duo. IMO they’re not playing second fiddle to each other but a pair working together. There’s no ego or fight to be “alpha” which is what makes them work so well.

this is Luka's team. And Kyrie is pretty much aware of that.
I get that Luka is probably the best player on the team but Kyrie is right there with him. They play super well together which really is what makes them even better. This comment is spot on.
@@fiber1881 There's some truth to the original commenter. Luka's a PHEOMENAL player, but he's a system player. He really would only work with Kyrie, Steph, or KD.

Five more to go, Jason Kidd and kyrie getting their second rings, kyrie returning to Boston and KP returning to Dallas is a great story line. And the refs being consistent so far, we fans are blessed.

Didn't they win by 9 or 8. We want Ky and Luka to be Co MVP. Ky knows the game. We want Ky and Luka MVP's in western conference. Nothing else will do. That's what we the fans want! Both have earned. It.! We want both!
The road this team had to take, first taking apart multiple HOFers in La, then knocking off the first seeded OKC, and then now the team that beat the defending champions. If they can pull it off, this trophy in my view would be one of the most substantial in league history, a great treat for all fans.
Facts and all this just to meet the toughest test of them all the Celtics. Definitely one of the hardest roads to a championship ever

I'm a mavs fan, I disagree, it's a nice run but not an all time run. Okc and Minnesota are young teams with zero playoff experience.
I REALLY hope that 1B comment by Kidd affect Luka and Kyrie chemistry. There was no need to say that. When the reporter mentioned it to Kyrie that Kidd said that he had a look on his face. Not going to read much into it, but I hope it's nothing and he stays.
Last time somebody minimized Kyrie he ended up in a Celtics jersey. It was a divisive statement.

One time I held the door for a lady, and it was Jason and his mother I believe. As I was going inside, I noticed; I stuck out an elbow, and the man was quick to meet me in the middle-- elbow bump. ❤💪
Being a player he knows how to give the credit to players and try not to take anything away from them. What a coach👍
the Mavs have figured this out. Stay close conserve enough energy for the moments you need a nitrous oxide boost for the wins. They simply have more energy at the right moments. Ant spent himself in the 3rd and petered out when it was most needed.

Kidd finally has full control of a team. These guys personify Kidd as a player. Defense and system plays with multiple variations. The offensive execution is #1. Help ls to have 2 cerebral players like Irvin & Doncic.
Kidd was our floor general in 2011 championship run. He has seen it all. He has put it all together as a coach and his players respond.
