My wife drives a 2015 mkt with 300k because of this video you made I was able to change all six plugs and coil packs. Thank you! Next I’ll be changing front suspension haven’t done any research on that next but I have a feeling it has struts but not sure. We’ve had the car for almost 2 years and got a good deal when we bought it. The previous owner kept up with maintenance. Just want to say thanks again and I’ll be looking forward to more of your videos. I have a 2012 Ford F150 eco-boost with very high miles as well and leaks coolant like a sieve during a pressure test. It still holds pressure. I’m trying to figure that one out.
yes it will have struts buy new struts as a assembly so you don't have to mess with transferring the springs over. as for the f150 more than likely its the water pump or the coolant fittings
Question, can you tell me the difference between standard coil pks for these cars and direct ignition coils ? about to change mine on my 2010 MKS AND HOW could you tell by looking at them ? by the way...good job explaining how this all works. i don't know why ford and Lincoln make things difficult...example, putting plugs and coil pks behind upper intake housing that has to be removed to replace coils and plugs! JUST STUPID ENGENEERING!!
I'm looking at a 2013 with 104,000 miles. I'm a little leery due to age and mileage. Any advice on problems and complaints? It's a certified pre-owned with 2 previous owners.
1. The Main concern is the PTU AKA Transfer case for the AWD system needs fluid changed!!!!! before you buy and have them collect the fluid in a glass jar. 2. if it is "ecoboost" would be turbos they are going to need replaced eventually.

well it is what it is... truly they want you to take it to the dealer for all service so they are not concerned when engineering things to be easy.
