Wow! Things are moving fast. I’m so happy for you all to be back down here surrounded by family. Virginia was such an important chapter for your growth in your faith. Isn’t it amazing how our lord works?!he always gives us what we need not necessarily what we want but he always knows what’s best for us. So excited to see what’s to come! Hope you had a blessed Easter. Sending love and prayers.
Hey Kayla. Just squeeze out all the lemon juice and freeze it as cubes in an icecube tray. You can just use lemon juice cubes whenever you need lemon juice in something.
I’ve been looking for an update but new you were traveling. I feel if I don’t see a video for a day it’s like missing a call from a friend. I give you a lot of credit for everything you do. You’re a great mom and role model. Best of luck on the move.
One of my favorite letter activities is “letter salad. Take a big metal or plastic salad bowl and put shredded up green construction paper or green Easter grass (bet you can get this on sale right now) for the “lettuce”. Then, stick in a bunch of upper and lowercase magnetic, wooden, or foam letters. Let your child use tongs to get out the letters and then have them either rainbow write or trace the letter they pulled out, and of course identify the letter. You can do this activity for letter sound identification as well.
So excited for you to be closer to your family, especially as this new baby is coming. I moved to a different state a couple years ago and even though my parents moved too I had no friends and it strengthened and made my relationship with the Lord stronger. So it's been amazing to see your journey with God ❤❤
Hey Kayla, make a memory game with the alphabet. Print the colored ABC sheet twice, laminate it and cut them up. Do no more than 5 letters at a time. He is still small.
Your doing great mama! I also am a sahm/homeschool with 3 kids same age as yours. Do you think it could be gas? My baby spits up a lot so he'll fall asleep and then wake up shortly after to spit up because he's uncomfortable. Since my baby is only 3 months I know that I will be holding/ baby wearing him for his naps. I don't even try to put him down unless necessary just because I know he'll wake up soon. Wishing you the best and I'm on this journey with you!
when your place is clean and not cluttered it will sell quickly- in 2021 we listed our condo, made it super clean and packed away a lot of items- it sold the first day......
Omg I haven’t watched your vlogs in a little while and I can’t believe how grown up Riley and Jackson are😭😭 Riley sounds like a little woman now hehe 🥰 blessings to you and the family xxx
I'm only halfway through the video but wanted to let you know I just got my three year old son the ABC robot letters on Amazon. They are letters then transform into little robots. They only have uppercase and numbers which I would have loved lowercase but still cool. He can identify his letters but working on sounds. I'm doing just two a week and taking it slow. Just an idea for something hands on! ❤
I have a question I have my son in kindergarten now and his school for his kindergarten ends on may 26th and he graduates may 22bd if I decide to homeschool him for first grade would they be ok because I am thinking about homeschooling him for first grade what do you think give me your feed back please Kayla. Cute Easter baskets you got the kids
I had a helpful suggestion about not wanting to mess someone's furniture up when potty training. They told me to put underwear on and then a pull up over it. This way kids still feel wet without making furniture wet.
I'm having the same problem but with numbers. My daughter has been able to count to around 20 for a while now but I just realized recently she couldn't identify them 😅 What helped us for letter identification was to start with the first letter of all our family members names, friends, her favourite tv characters, animals then just filled in the blanks. Now when we read books with one word in big bold letters she likes to spell them out 😍
Hi I know the good and the beautiful is free starting at kindergarten, but do you think it’s worth it to buy the full pre k curriculum for a 4 year old? My daughter will be 4 in June, I know she not ready for kindergarten curriculum, she is registered for a public preschool starting in September but my circumstances may be changing so she may not be able to go. I want to start homeschooling her and even if she does end up going to school, thinking of using this to supplement.
I dont like ordering through walmart at all. At least the ones near me anyway. I ordered some almond milk last week and they left it on my porch in the 70+ degree heat and I never got any call or message saying it was delivered! It spoiled and they wont take it back now. :(
Maybe a pull up over training underwear when you're out and about could work in helping him remember when he's at your moms house but still catch anything in case he has an accident!
Cravings are so interesting. I craved lemonade and strawberries with my son. Mac n cheese and popsicles with my first daughter. Fried chicken and raspberries with my second dsuvbtery
Maybe buy some land and purchase a luxurious double wide trailer. Clayton has some really nice ones. Trailers have come a LONG way. They look like ranches, you would NOT think that you was in a trailer
I know all the lemons are probably all gone now 😂but for future if you want to save them for long time you can keep them in the fridge and will be good for months
My daughter is very close to Jackson in age and is going thru the same thing with letters. Otherwise, she's incredibly smart she just for whatever reason isn't excelling with letters. They'll both get there eventually. The desire has to be there I think. She's the same way, she knows the ABC song.
Tip for juicing lemons and oranges - roll them with your hands on the counter using a little pressure before you cut them. It gets the juice out much easier. I have a lemon and orange tree in my backyard so we have a lot of citrus
I have a boy that will be 5 in July and he is NOT potty trained. He will cry if I put on underwear and keep asking for his pull up back. I can get him to pee pee in the potty if I tell him too, but, he will not on his own. He always forgets. If we are out of teh house he will tell us he has gotta go. My boy WILL NOT poop on the potty, just wont. I have 3 in diapers and I would LOVE to have at least 1 out of them. I have another boy that will be 3 in August and he shows NO signs of being ready to start training. I stress about it because when I tell others I have a 4 and 2 year old not potty trained the look at me cross eyed and I get the "welllll, this is what I did. and I had them trained by 6 months."...... I'd love to hear more stories of moms in my same situation.
Why don’t you ship a few basic items (toys, very basic baby necessities, etc.) and just buy your baking stuff and the rest when you’re down there? Make life easier for yourself. Instead of having to pack and lug around all this stuff with you…

Glad your house is selling! I knew it would go fast. It’s nice and it’s a sellers market right now, you didn’t need to stage it as much as you did.
The lemonade looked delicious! Congratulations on the offer and fingers crossed that all works out well for you and your family. ❤
"...how about there's no rats...." loved it 😂💙
Love that you share the kids activities. My son is 3 and refuses to learn his letters but knows all the vehicles and shapes 😂
I’m sooo excited for ur Miami vlogs with ur family as well 🎉🎉🎉
Hey Kayla, make a memory game with the alphabet. Print the colored ABC sheet twice, laminate it and cut them up. Do no more than 5 letters at a time. He is still small.
I'm so excited for your move!!! Can't wait till you find your new place!
This is amazing! I haven’t caught a blog in a long time from you so I’m just now catching up but congratulations on all the things! How exciting!

What's the homeschool book work you use? Or do you have a link to that ?
😂 I’m literally laughing out loud watching you take out the ice by hand.
Omg I'm so glad im not the only one on the same boat currently going through the same with my son he does not like to poop in the toilet

Kayla! I am stressed for you, but u fan do this!
Is it possible to leave your nesting things at your mom’s to keep things seperate
I saw a trick on IG where you help children memorize the number by singing it to the tune of Jingle bells! Felt like that would be so helpful!
Moving is so stressful. Please be careful to take good care of yourself.
Something that helped with us for potty training our toddler was a little treasure chest full of “poop prizes” for when she would poop in the potty! 😊
how r u dealing with the 2 vehicles?
GOOD CONGRATION

Craving strawberries, and Mac and Cheese!!! It's a girl. 🌸🙏💜👶😁 just a feeling!!

Do you know about the website Teachers Pay Teachers?
What are you doing with all your prepper stuff???
That’s all coming with us!!!

Thank you for the tip. I will definitely try this next time. My hand always hurts from juicing a lot of oranges with a manuel juicer.
Please have a safe move to Miami love Devin
could u make a bingo letter game?

Is Jackson willing to sit on the potty in his pull-up while he's pooping? Do you think that would help him get used to the feeling?
