    Fascinating, tastefully done, and absolutely beautiful!!! There was one scene where, for a moment, I felt my imagination was being carried off into the distance within the clouds.
    First rate!

    Naprawdę kawał dobrej roboty ! Większość ludzi oglądający takie filmiki robione techniką poklatkową nie zdaje sobię sprawy ile trzeba pracy aby powstał chociażby 2 minutowy film. Sam obecnie też bawię się techniką poklatkową w astrofotografii i jestem na dobrej drodze do stworzenia podobnej jakości filmu :) Pozdrawiam.

    That's just incredible. One of the best aurora timelapses I have ever seen (and the first of noctilucent clouds as far as I know). Great night, great work. Well done Maciej!

    Spent many weekends on Rumster Hill photographing the hillclimbs.
    I used to take a few long exposures around Caithness on my trusty Praktica LTL3 and later on a Canon AE1. What I would have done back then for a digital camera!!!

    Chciałbym tam być wraz z Panem i jeśli nie filmować, to przynajmniej towarzyszyć podczas tych zdjęć. Zachwycający jest ten film, więc wyobrażam sobie, jak musiało to wyglądać na żywo.

    That is beautiful... congrats on your wonderful capture.... i was out that very same night in Ireland and i cpatured the Aurora... but the NLC's were too far north beyond the Horizon. Keep up the Great work. :)

    Thank you. Yes, I have seen aurora pictures from north of Ireland from that night and only upper part of aurora was visible due to more southerly location.

    These are red lights on the mast of TV transmitting station in Rumster Forest in Caithness. It is quite far from where I was shooting but because is quite high (about 230 meters) than is clearly visible.

    Yes, few meteors which you can see in this movie are early Perseid meteors which are remnants of comet Swift-Tuttle burning in upper atmosphere when Earth passes through trail of debris left by this comet.

    Very beautiful, indeed. To be precise, however, other clouds are not made of water vapour, but water droplets, and surprisingly many of them are made of ice crystals.

    The problem is that you can't predict events like this, that's just pure luck and because these joint events, like this one are rare, this makes this footage quite unique.
