    For any AHU fan, static pressure is selected only on basis of External static pressure???
    also as AHU is having DUst filter and Coil which will create resistance i.e. Internal static pressures
    Fan selection will be based only on external static pressure or we need to add internal static pressure

    Dear Sir,
    Say AHU blower outlet 30"x35" and connected duct size 60"x20". In this case, which one we take for average?
    30"x35" means 32.5"x 7.6 or, 60"x20" means 40"x 7.6

      2 x (30 + 35 ) = 130
      130 ÷ 4 = 32.5
      32.5 × 7.6 = 247

    If we have long duct say 10 m and has louver damper in middle say point B
    If i close the damper to 50 % then the static pressure at that point will increase as per your class.
    What will be the effect on pressure and air flow at point c i-e the discharge.

    Bro there is a problem in your SP relation with motor. As static pressure rises the load on motor decreases. The motor will draw less current.
