also Marechausee may be useful, but not for anemo characters (that require verisdiscent and venti main damage is his anemo burst not crit damage) but i can see faruzan carrying veridisc instead of tenacity so marechausee could be useful in this sense
i just finished the video and i saw the builds. damn odd builds but if it works it works. i can see marechausse doing the same damage, or slightly more depending on the sub-stats
I love Venti, but I thought he was C1 at first. Until the last video, I was really shocked at the disparity between old and new characters. While new characters can solo Abyss at C6 or even C1, my old Venti at C6 needs to remove a healer slot to do things new characters can. Hoyoverse seriously needs to do something with old characters because I love them too much 😢😢
It's true that enemy lately keep having higher HP, and new characters can deal much more damage. I used to be able to solo the Abyss floor 12 with Venti but it's too difficult for me now😢 Wish the developer can find a way to make old characters can fit to new content.
Nah, the team was underperforming because the player wasn't using Furina properly. She needs HP fluctuation for her burst to buff the team, however, her skill stops draining HP at 50% max HP, so the moment the team reached that point, because there was no healer and this player rarely ever switched to Furina's healer mode, her burst was never buffing the team. Furina here was a near dead slot, providing basically only okay hydro app and okay dps, nothing of her true utility and why she's such a strong unit. Every single time the player bursted with her when the entire team was at 50% HP was a 100% dps loss because her burst was doing nothing (0 buffs because she was C0, it'd at least have given a bit of buffing if she were C1). If the point was to just bring a dps, the player would've been way better off bringing Ayato as burst dps instead.
venti const isnt that good tbh, with faruzan and furina his dmg bonus and especially anemo res is quite underwelming, his c0 damage is quite high already, its just quite clunky if you are dealing with mobile enemy
@@tuankietle2845 well he was released at 1.0 and we're at 5.0. Can't really blame for the lack of damage since that was during testing grounds.. But my only wish is they buff venti and other old characters to match the meta.. Especially venti IS an archon.
Well It’s dependent on the team’s hp shifting up or down. The issue with no healer is once 50% of the hp has been drained the fanfare wont increase anymore cause the Salon stops taking hp. But she might just be there for sub dps damage
I was more hoping for damage and hydro application from her summons. The damage bonus from her Burst would be nice but I'm new to Furina and it's kinda hard to time when to switch to healing mode😥

Charlotte is a very good choice. She could help getting fanfare of Furina burst too. But as you said, Ganyu might give better dps. And I love her large AoE and long duration from her burst🥰
@@scuffie Ganyu would have better personal damage, but team damage would be lower, because no Furina fanfare. Also, Charlotte could give Venti Trhilling Tales to increase his damage further.
I would suggest Crit build. Unlike Kazuha, Venti can't do much thing with EM. I think if I have Kazuha, I would save nice EM artifact pieces for him and give Crit pieces to Venti.
u would get even more dmg with venti and furina if u swapped ganyu for charlotte since furina isn't building any fanfare stacks without a healer. u can even swap hydro dmg goblet for hp% goblet on furina if it has better substats cuz of how huge her dmg bonus is
I mainly chose her because to boost Venti damage. But I felt that her Burst also help spreading elements among enemies, making them get frozen easier 💧❄

@@CrimsonLord777 I actually never measured before. Maybe the distance is about one Ganyu's E skill when she moves backward. But more important is to make sure the boss is going to stand still before using Venti burst.
your positioning and when you do move can influence his attacks and trick the ai, but a lot of these things are genuinely rng. You can do things to manipulate the ai but only so much
His damage is not so good at c0. You may have to use Ganyu as a main dps instead. You can change Faruzan to another character that can support Ganyu, like Diona.

Furina saloon members is buffed by reducing hp from the party(which is why you must have a healer) , she also buff with her burst (fanfare gain) based on hp increase/decrease (which again is why you must have a healer) . Want hydro application ? Use kokomi lol..
@@scuffie Do you have Ayato? Considering you weren't making any use of Furina's main utility, Ayato burst support would probably be better damage wise (specially considering Venti's grouping is involved, you'd have 2 semi quadratic scaling bursts with Ganyu and Ayato).
Not struggling at all. The clears were all within acceptable time for 36 star easy And also, the team wasn't even performing properly, since the player was almost never using Furina's fanfare, so essentially, 99% of the times he/she bursted with Furina were a complete dps loss and did nothing for the team's damage.

venti's personal damage is decent, it's just that he lives and dies by the enemy lineup, ventiable abysses are just as easy as they were since 1.0

Since they were attacking from outside the aoe range of the Kenki, that's why he stayed in place.

I don't have Kokomi and I don't think she can fit in my team well. Kokomi E skill has a short duration and can't make any damage.
