@@Aleeknives I was wondering about that myself, maybe add a lanyard tube and do it in leather/kydex combo as a neck knife and pull from kydex with the lanyard…. Maybe
Awesome knife. I’m making a little skinner out of some leftover 1059. Just trying to prefect some skills. The learning curve is pretty high. It’s turning out great but most importantly I’m having fun. Thanks for lessons. Keep up the outstanding work.
Very nice! I love the way the shape of the scales and the material they're made of complement the pattern of the steel. I have a little one waiting to be made myself, and I may borrow an idea or two. Thanks!
I am of the belief that there’s very few new ideas under the sun, and people get way to upset when someone takes inspiration from their work. Definitely give credit where it’s do, however.
Do you have a video or any more info on the jig you made at 1:17? Only one video in and you've shown me a lot for someone new to grinding. Thanks! I'm using a Delta 1x30 belt sander,
Wow! Beautiful, sir! Two questions: how do you keep the ricasso/front quillion area so crisp and clean and free of any evidence of the epoxy used to attach the scales? Did you make the damascus billet yourself? Subbed 😊
Hey man what's the dimensions on this by chance? How thick is the material and what's the width and length of the finished piece? Been wanting to create my own and this is the perfect design
@@Aleeknives I’m trying to make my first knife and did some free hand last night and it did not work out so well. I think using a 36 grit was a bit to much as it took off material really fast. I’m going to try out an 80 grit and see if that works better too. I’m hoping using this little jig will help line up the bevels a bit so it’s one less thing I need to focus on for right now as I practice on how I’m approaching the grinder. Thanks for your help with these videos. It has really helped me a ton.
Come on man, enough with the coffee making interludes. This isn't 2018. You're not Peter McKinnon. Nice knife, on the other hand. I think what I like best about your builds is your sense of lines and angles. Your knives usually have such great flow to them; they look like knives I'd be proud to own.

Nice. Looks like a great way to use scrap or leftover steel and handle materials. Still wondering why there was a kitchen video included.

you are welcome!
That's a beautiful little knife. It was hard to judge just how small the finished product was until I saw it in your hand at the end. Nice work!
Of course knives can be smaller but this is the smallest I have ever made
Digging the new creativity!
Thank you!
I love it. I thought for a minute that was stop motion on the grinder table 😂
I want to do some stop motion stuff!

1/8th inch stock about 4.5 inches long. Have fun man! cheers
@@Aleeknives thanks so much!
still looks cool, did you ever do a sheath for it?
Nope still no sheath!
Where abouts are you located? And would you be willing to teach
I am in KC. To busy these days to take on teaching in person though
Wow this came out great! Curious on where you found your file guide?
I bought this one at jantz knife supply
@@Aleeknives Awesome! Thanks I placed an order. I have been searching everywhere for that but wanted a good one that can be used with grinder.
This one is not carbide! Be careful with the grinder. That being said I have used this for 8 years
