I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

The years of work, disappointment of a delayed debut. Unable to perform in front of a crowd for such a long time. Yet all of these years later, strong as ever, healthy, happy, successful! How many other groups have we seen where members have to go on hiatus, for 'health reasons'. Some even before debut or shortly after. Many don't endure as long a process as XG did. Simon cares for these girls like his daughters. Protecting them and nurturing them. Best run girl group in music.
I also cried the first time, Christmas already makes me emotional and the song is so beautiful.

Maya definitely joined the vocal line, she really killed it in this song, she proved that she is XG's 2nd Lead Vocalist, after Hinata, who showed that she is not only the Main Dancer, but also one of the Lead Vocalist's.
I couldn’t help but cry when I heard this song. Just moved to a new country and it’s my first time spending Christmas alone without my loved ones. So bittersweet, yet so hopeful. What a beautiful song 🥺💗

Someone already mentioned the teaser for the MV. But what really hits so hard partly goes with what you said about how hard they’ve worked up to this point. That’s the thing, they have people they miss like family but they continue pushing forward towards their dreams TOGETHER!!! They still have each other and that’s what makes this music video so heartwarming and emotional. 😭 A one of a kind bond, sisters through and through, HESONOO!!! ♾️😭

XG absolutely devoured this from start to finish. And that amazing old skool ad libs outro was FIRE. XG is such a god tier girl group they never miss. "Winter Without You" is old skool R&B 90s/early 2000s perfection. And only XG can pull it off so genuinely & so flawlessly its in their DNA. This song seriously needs to go viral its just too good for it not to.

Yes 🙌🏽 JAKOPS served us Alphaz with a perfect Christmas Song. Exactly, I watched the Documentary Series Xtra Xtra and I definitely agree they worked so hard and became who Simon envisioned this Amazing Xpop Group to be as they are now. A curiosity: At the beginning of the clip, Chisa makes reference to the Japanese film Love Letter (1995), and this scene is near the end of the film, and Fuji's fiancée (fiance who died) screams just like CHISA at the beginning of the clip, but 5 times in the film (repeating the words on a bed) and each time she shouts “How are you? I'm fine” she screams, getting louder and falling to the floor in tears from crying so much. (CHISA lying on the floor ).
At the end of the film, the bride receives his book from her high school friends with a pencil drawing of her MADE IN PENCIL BY HIM DURING SCHOOL, where the scene ends with all her classmates emotional and her crying when she sees the drawing of her painted as she was during high school.

I think you got it confused a bit there, the bride shouts “How are you? I’m fine” but the one on the bed and with the drawing is the highschool friend. Understandable how you might confuse the two though since they’re played by the same actress 😂

Itsuki (female) just realized fuuji (male) was in love with her during their highschool days

You had to seriously compose yourself in that short of a time. My hats off to you...i havent stopped shedding tears. Jeff that’s what I’m waiting for. Cocona or Juria to hit a B4,C5 belt full chest register would be heavenly. That’s the one thing left XG hasn’t done yet. That’s the only thing GG don’t do is chest belts. It’s always head voice and falsetto. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

That's why I would like Cocona or Juria to belt a chest register on XG song. then Chisa singing over a c4 belt with a 5th octave head voice as Chisa does....IU & Ailee is probably the only owns who utilizes chest voice.
