been watching quite a few inzoi vids the last few days, & other than the volume being a little overpowering of your voice, which you mentioned, this is my favorite one so far, mainly because watching you figure out how to play is helping me learn too, since i haven't had a chance to play yet, & in most of the other videos i've seen, they just race through doing stuff so fast i can't even tell how/what they're doing, so ty!

Despite the bugs and glitches due to still being in development, this looks so promising! I love the little touches of personality they gave the Zoi, like humming, adjusting clothing etc. And I’m sorry but Jared at the end had me screaming 😂
I'd like them to add a feature where you can put your photo in the game. And it automatically takes what your photo looks like and turns you into that character that would be cool

The hair animations needs a look. It's pretty good but it needs to be looked into the hair texture. And the animations is a bit of and needs to be addressed. But hopefully it will be fixed when they have updated unreal engine 5.3, and I hope it's gonna be full-screen on ultrawide monitors, and they add the option so you can have more than one outfit for winter and summer times like the sims has, and what about tattoos?

The SIMS has really been put on notice with this game havent they? My biggest problem with SIMS is way too much is hidden behind expansions. Granted they do need to make money to make fresh content, but I think they went a little too far with it. For example VAMPIRES and WEREWOLVES being 2 seperate $20 expansions when they really should have just been 1. I know this game will have expansions or at least they should have and still be very successful. I just hope they dont bury their content like SIMS did. GREAT WORK by KRAFTON.

I agree. I haven't played Sims in a while but their personality impacts how they move around, which adds to the fullness of the game. I hope they add that!
I'll be uploading some more videos covering my pros and cons of inZOI - but one thing I will say is that inZOI is still in *really* early development and so far the team have been really great at taking on all of our feedback. Your right to feel this way, and thank you Harrie for the long video. I have been watching a lot of videos on this game now. Each providing me more in depth info on whether this is the game for me or not. My first issues with the game, was too much social pressure, pop ups, messages, and the god aspect of needing to maintain the entire city. I'm not a fan of the recognition need either as a introvert autistic person that doesn't like nor wants my game to pressure social needs and interactions in this way. These was my initial issues that was creating a large question mark on whether this game is for me. Thanks to this video I have even more glaring issues. The game does indeed feel dead, and it's not just the animations and this same feeling. It feels dead because even though you can pick a personality, the expression of it comes off very shallow and one dimensional in gameplay. In fact honestly, the issue is what many games seem to have these days. Very good graphics but the gameplay and personality of the game feels hollow. The game ticks all the aesthetic boxes, and options for aesthetics without question, many of the things we mod into our games this has on entry and that's amazing. However mods shine the best on games that are solid and that aesthetics and optimizations is the only thing lacking. As much as I have great issue with the sims 4. Our problems with the game is its poor optimization, poor performance, too expensive and half bake features that are overly charged but was present in previous titles. However the sim games do succeed in feeling alive and having an identity. The Sims do feel like people through out the games. Sims 4 is definitely a nerf in this but I can honestly say the Sims in sims 4 have way more character and feel more alive then what I'm seeing here by a landslide. Do inzois look better? Of course that is not up for debate. Are inzois a better quality? Yeah again not up for debate, and frankly we can say that for a lot of the game. However quality isn't just the looks and aesthetics options, its personality, its a genuine vibe to it, a living feeling to it. And I'm sorry to say but the inzois for all their perfect appearance, come off either fake , or robotic in a way, they don't feel like people but AI... For all the grief I have against sims 4, you mod it enough, you put enough time into at least one house hold. They will feel like a person genuinely, and I am not seeing that here. So i could make my characters look perfect, but they won't have their personalities which defeats the point of making them in the end. Also I'm not a fan of the talking bubbles. It doesn't feel like a conversation is taking place, it feels like a phone app when two inzois talk to each other. That takes me out of the world itself and the personal vibe thats supposed to be felt. I will get this game, it's too well made in so many ways not to, but I don't see myself playing it very long. Once the rose tint flashy graphics wear off I think I'll just make my inzoi, my house, drive around, walk around and that's about it and turn off the game. There no desire to interact with other inzois outside of their looks, nothing pulls, they feel like mindless npc. It's a pretty world with no soul in its current state to me. I need more then graphics, I need soul.

@@HarrieSilver Oh bless you for seeing value in my thoughts. I been thinking about the changes I would do personally threw modding and so I will share these ideas with you. 1. The recognition need will only be a need for certain personality or career type zois. I really don't like this need being for all zois. As a autistic introvert, social pressure being alienated, isolated and failing to meet others expectations is a constant in my life that I really don't want my zoi to deal with or feel pressure to play towards. I know some would like to roleplay these aspects but not me. I would prefer it not mandatory for all zois or it's optional altogether. I like the karma system, that's great but that being tied to what the zois think of themselves is where I have problems with it. Feels over reaching there. This need would not show up for zois that prefer solitude or a more natural quiet life, but this need would make perfect sense for go getters and zois that participate in volunteering or business. 2. A way to change the style or even hide the social interaction bubbles. They can take a look at paralives for what I'm talking about here. paralives interactions are more natural and personal, because it's minimal interface. The bubbles to interact don't take up so much space and don't overly animate or have extra effects. It just feels like a natural conversation in paralives which increases immersion. I think there will be players that like the current inzoi style but perhaps a more tone down style or minimal options could be added for better immersion. 3. I understand that with this game, you are supposed to be a god and I don't want to suggest removing a core aspect of the game design. However perhaps there can be a mode that allows more hands off on these aspects. When I play sims I'm very character focus. I like to build house and love interior design but I never engage in the city activities other then having a date or quietly reading at the library or going for a swim at the beach. I just prefer life simulator games to allow me to do just that, simulate a better life then the one I'm living hahaha. Or at the very least a play ground for my creativity. I don't want it too feel so multitask or be in a manager position. I'm not a person like that so these aspects while great for other players is a huge downer for players like me. I can only hope for a tone down option with this aspect if possible. 4. Another thing that could make it feel more natural is having the option of toning down the over exaggeration of emoting expressions during conversations. Even the Sims 4 has this issue, which is why many prefer sims 3 and 2. All sim games have over the top interactions but usually the conversations themselves are very natural or show a lot of personality. I felt like the conversation animated emotes between the zois, came off like they was all aware they was being recorded by a cell phone. The animations don't look genuine to me at all. You talk to someone down the street, it's very casual, no sparkles no meme gesturing, no emote behavior, just two people talking. In fact what makes such emote and extra expressions noticeable and more impactful is the fact you don't see that normally in a conversation. So seeing all the time over saturates the expression. Not once did I feel I was watching a normal conversation with depth or anything meaningful being said in it whenever the inzois spoke to each other. They look and feel too AI/npc. Having a option to tone down effects and emotive animations could help a natural feel. 5. More walk styles please!!!! I am not feeling the current walk styles, it lacks personality hard. 6. Quirks... The sims in sim games have quirks and that helps. For example if you make a paranoid sim, they have a animation they look around nervously. While this is over the top at times. The concept itself adds character. Your friend that forgets their keys all the time, your friend that has a slight skip in their step, your friend or family that kinda fidgety with a pencil or pen, your friend with bad posture and likes to slouch. Hell being able to wear your hat backwards or your belt in a sloppy way. Stuff like this would add more life more character and personality. 7. I haven't been shown this yet, but is there a voice slider? Different audio would be nice for each zoi. 8. Lifestyles changing behavior quirks. This is in sims 4 and its a great feature just lazily implemented but inzoi could implement this better. Let our activities enhance our personality or quirks of our zois. 9. Mute text messages and or pop ups. This feature drives me insane in sims 4 and I'm not excited to see it here. I don't want playing a life simulator to feel like playing a mobile game or playing in my cell phone. I love immersion, please an options to hide or turn off these aspects please. Hell a step further could be a future mode that you can play a map that happens during a different time period. How i would love to go back to the 80's . Land line phones, no cell phones, no internet everywhere, no social media. This could be a world map all by it self, a retro world map. It can be retro korea or a American inspired one. I'm probably forgetting stuff, but this is what I could think of for now I would instantly try to change just to play this game long term, past the honeymoon phase. Thanks for anyone who reads this, and again I want to love this game, there is soo many great qualities in this game, it just needs that extra that gives it more life beyond the wow factor of the graphics. I'm rooting for the Devs
I just hope EA sues inzoi for literally copying everything from sims. There is no problem with creating a life simulator, the real problem is not being original and making a copy and paste from sims.
From my experience the only thing so far that feels pretty close to the sims 4 is the game/menu music and the language Zoi are speaking sounds a little like simlish. I’ll be releasing a video soon that shows off a lot of the core features of inzoi and honestly not that many are that similar to TS4, but TS4 I believe are aware of inZoi and played a part in helping them understand the simulation genre

In fact what makes such emote and extra expressions noticeable and more impactful is the fact you don't see that normally in a conversation. So seeing all the time over saturates the expression. Not once did I feel I was watching a normal conversation with depth or anything meaningful being said in it whenever the inzois spoke to each other. They look and feel too AI/npc. Having a option to tone down effects and emotive animations could help a natural feel.
5. More walk styles please!!!! I am not feeling the current walk styles, it lacks personality hard.
6. Quirks... The sims in sim games have quirks and that helps. For example if you make a paranoid sim, they have a animation they look around nervously. While this is over the top at times. The concept itself adds character. Your friend that forgets their keys all the time, your friend that has a slight skip in their step, your friend or family that kinda fidgety with a pencil or pen, your friend with bad posture and likes to slouch. Hell being able to wear your hat backwards or your belt in a sloppy way. Stuff like this would add more life more character and personality.
7. I haven't been shown this yet, but is there a voice slider? Different audio would be nice for each zoi.
8. Lifestyles changing behavior quirks. This is in sims 4 and its a great feature just lazily implemented but inzoi could implement this better. Let our activities enhance our personality or quirks of our zois.
9. Mute text messages and or pop ups. This feature drives me insane in sims 4 and I'm not excited to see it here. I don't want playing a life simulator to feel like playing a mobile game or playing in my cell phone. I love immersion, please an options to hide or turn off these aspects please. Hell a step further could be a future mode that you can play a map that happens during a different time period. How i would love to go back to the 80's . Land line phones, no cell phones, no internet everywhere, no social media. This could be a world map all by it self, a retro world map. It can be retro korea or a American inspired one.
I'm probably forgetting stuff, but this is what I could think of for now I would instantly try to change just to play this game long term, past the honeymoon phase. Thanks for anyone who reads this, and again I want to love this game, there is soo many great qualities in this game, it just needs that extra that gives it more life beyond the wow factor of the graphics. I'm rooting for the Devs

I just hope EA sues inzoi for literally copying everything from sims. There is no problem with creating a life simulator, the real problem is not being original and making a copy and paste from sims.

From my experience the only thing so far that feels pretty close to the sims 4 is the game/menu music and the language Zoi are speaking sounds a little like simlish. I’ll be releasing a video soon that shows off a lot of the core features of inzoi and honestly not that many are that similar to TS4, but TS4 I believe are aware of inZoi and played a part in helping them understand the simulation genre
