Hey! This granny loves you to pieces! Your honesty. Transparency. I am as proud of you as if you were my own. The thing that concerns me about carrying around too much weight is the toll it takes on your body as time goes by. It happened to me and I know, many others. I went from what I thought was a fit fat person to an average weight person who can’t walk without a walker at all and is in pain 24/7. I had years of grace to take action but I didn’t. So here I sit. I have made the most of my situation! I have no family but have a few close friends. I’ve got many interests and hobbies too. It could be a lot worse. But it could be so much better. Take care of yourself, my friend. You have the time and the time is now! I’m sending you love and Blessings!❤ Kkeep traveling. Keep living a joyful life…grab it by the garbanzos and don’t let go! At 63, the weight is working my knees! I am not bone on bone, but cartilage is getting worn down and taking some stress off will only do me good. One benefit of my nutritionist is my cholesterol is down 13 points and my A1C dropped from 5.9 (prediabetic) to 5.1. Numbers can’t be beat!
When I read your comment I said did I write this. It is all well and good to be heavy when you are young but as you get older and start to lose that weight the toll it took on your body frame is a bitch. Sista I have that walker too but it don't stop me. I take that tylenol in the morning and I good. I hope you feel better and Old Ladies Rock ON lol

Ok I'm adding to the Ole lady gang. 68 here.ive had both knees and hips replaced. I now have arthritis in my THUMB oh and my feet have neuropathy. ... HOWEVER I go to my silver sneakers class 2-3 times a week and the pool on Sundays. My problem is staying up until 2-3 am and eating a barrage of just food. I'm now 260lb and hate it😢 at this point I feel it's so much more mental then anything else. LOVE THIS CHANNEL KEEP IT UP 👍🏾🙏🏾😍

Some people say its taking the easy way out but there are a lot of changes and adjustments you have to get use to. Anyway, you have to do whats right for you. I love and appreciate your honesty and transparency. I was one of those "do it the hard way" people when it came to weight loss and now see how tired that way is. Can it be done for sure but not everyone will achieve the same results. To anyone thinking about going the medical weight loss route, do it! Don't feel ashamed or think you are taking the easy way out, it can be just as hard and just as satisfying to keep the weight you lose off. The only people who will try to shame are the ones who can't afford it. You've worked hard enough, are working hard enough and will continue to work harder than anyone having negative things to say.

I feel like a proud parent watching your consistency towards the goals you made solely for you. I start and stop, pick something up then put it down, get inspired, blink and head towards defeat. I know once I’m sick and absolutely tired nothing will stop the progression. There’s some gyms (higher end) that have that machine your doctor has to get all the stats about bmi etc. look into a gym that offers one whenever your current membership runs out. That machine also takes 3d image pics and is available whenever you need to use it for free as it should be with the cost of these luxury gyms lol.

As a Trini jus here to say 1) Yasssss come Carnival girrrrl. 2) to thoroughly enjoy the series of events back to back and the 2 days of playing Mas we begin stamina training from October/November or so the year before. I would advise jus walking uphill on the treadmill for a minimum of like 2hrs every single day. The distance on the road is one thing but it is a constant go of events before as well. Stamina is everything for enjoyment. Be mindful of the free alcohol when on the road yes u paid for it but the hot sun and walking for hrs doesn't make it ideal. But have fun girrrrl 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I have been following you for awhile now and I love how real you are. I just started Mounjaro and it is going slow but my age is a factory because it’s harder to lose as you get older. But I don’t really have the problem with the weight it’s the mobility for me. I feel with the weight I have been struggling with moving and I just want to reverse that!! Keep up with what you do!! My sister had horrible period cramps since she was 9. She always pretty much used tampons. Recently she started using pads and her cramps have improved drastically. She’s also been taking some mineral and iron supplements. She said she feels so much better.
