I wasn't raised in a Christian home. We did know about God but not enough to make him our leader. After leaving home and starting my life, I started for Him. It took me a very long time. I'm still learning , breaking old habits, setting new goals and falling deeper in love with my LORD. You, Pastor Nolan have helped me more than any other pastor/ministry over the 30 years. May God continue to bless you with great teachings.
He's been a huge help in my walk with Jesus too. I've not watched him for very long, maybe a month but already I can tell a difference in my desire for the word. I would say this is because of pastor Nolan. He just has a way of bringing the scriptures to life. I pray that God continues to guide him in his teachings. God bless you always 🤗
I wasn't raised up in a church. Just every now and then. When I had kids, I never knew how important Jesus is. So, my kids was raised up like I was. It was when they became teens I made them go with me more often. Now, they are prodigal kids. Wished I would've known.
Don’t be dismayed. Start a daily prayer practice. Ask the Lord to direct you to the right strategy for praying for them. Don’t pray helpless prayers, “Oh God, what can I do?”, but claim them for the kingdom. “Lord your word says you are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to eternal life, therefore I claim that __________ will not perish but have eternal life.” “I pray that you may give ________ the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, and that the eyes of his/her understanding being enlightened; that he/she may know the hope of your calling to him/her” Find Bible passages that you can turn into warfare prayers and fight for your family.
God says to love your neighbors as I loved you, do I have to like even the toxicity of some of them. That's a hard one for me. I forgive those who have done me and my loved ones wrong, but to love them makes me feel that it was alright for them to treat me like they did and that's NOT okay. How do I resolve this issue?!
@kelleydeclue4100 Hi Kelley, your comment got me thinking about my neighbors and acquaintances. There are 18 verses in the Bible that command us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Also, remember we are to love our enemies. It can be a tough bite to swallow sometimes. I have a difficult neighbor because of our privacy fence. He's not a Christian, so he treats us poorly as he is without Holy Spirit conviction. I wave when I see him (even made him cupcakes for Superbowl... my husband wasn't too thrilled) and pray for him just like I pray for all the wicked ones in our government. I believe God wants us to be a good testimony and pray for these neighbors. They need salvation, and you never know when an opportunity to share the gospel may happen. If all you can do is pray for them... great! That's love ❤️
The truth of the Bible is offensive... but then we come to that saving knowledge of that it needed to be. Pastor, I really love how you share the truth with love. ❤
Good words. I have to ask is not the truth most important. As Christian, I as tell me the truth even if I am wrong, so I can live right by GOD. Is that not what we are supposed to do?
Thank you for continuing to preach the truth in 2024! And as well, about love. We need to love as Jesus loves. The word of God will always be the same, unchanging! Always the truth! Keep preaching!
Thank you pastor. You have and are giving me so much good information. I now know I want the heart of Jesus Christ. Thank you pastor Nolan and God bless you 🙏
I must admit, I find myself compelled to watch every video you've made, though time doesn't allow me to see them all, much as I wish I could. Pastor Allen, I trust you're well, and my prayers are with you for continued blessings from GOD. Like many others, I too yearn to share my life story with you.
As a side note and having taken notice these past couple of years it's amazing the parallels of you and I Allen. May God continue blessing your family, you in your walk and ministry.
I do appreciate your compassion for our ailing U.S. President. I did not vote for him and never would, but what is happening to him is tragic; and those around him are so wrong to manipulate and humiliate a feeble old man.
I'm dealing with my 28 year old son's perception. It is hard for him to open his mind to concepts that seem foreign to him. It does no good to argue when he's playing the fool, all I can do is pray that the Lord will "open" his understanding.
