Be fair to Swerve, the ratings didn't drop because of him, the ratings dropped because creative put all their eggs in the better than you bay bay basket and they both got hurt. Now Max is back, Adam isn't fully, and it only makes sense to immediately put the most over wrestler on the planet back into the world title picture. Storytelling is back in aew. The slow time is over

Swerve was the only reason many watched at all. They have not hyped his title reign enough.
The lack of good booking is why rating dropped, dumb matches, Swerve barely got anything into his reign.
