- In this epic episode of South Beach Classics, Ted Vernon donates an old 1955 Chevy Truck 3100, for the 42nd annual Daytona Turkey Run charity auction.
The annual Daytona Turkey Run is the largest car show swap in the nation, and this year they're going bigger and better with their build. With the help of the Complete Autobody Service Centre team, they'll be transforming this classic 55 Chevy with a completely modern spin.
The fun doesn't stop there! If they manage to auction the car for over $50,000, Ted Vernon has to wear a turkey suit, and we can tell you he is NOT happy with that idea.

Truck was great….it looked good enough for a buyer…. it’s to help children… it entertains the public TV audience ….and helps business owners with a tax write off. Wonderful thing all the way around my friends, great jobs👍
That's a beautiful truck and it and all of the 60s Chevy Trucks have always been my favorite although I like the 70s into the 80s square body Chevy Trucks as well

@@ThomasJones-ij6hv Ted's first wife passed away a long time ago so not sure where you are getting your information and Ted's relationship with his daughter is not great, she is rebellious and has tattoos from head to toe, which I am sure is Ted's fault too. Let's stick with the Robin claim, there were no charges filed and Ted and Robin did not even live together at the time of the claim, they had lived a part for several months before the claimed incident. Robin told her story to every publication and only the New Times ran it, only after months of Robin pedaling the story to anyone who would listen, do you know what type of newspaper the New Times is? they sell drama half truths and not truths! All of these Robin claims have been thrown out of court, including the fact that they were never married. Talk to Ted in person and talk to Robin in person, I am sure your will change your mind.

I like the build. Don’t really like how those people suckered him into giving the truck to them for free though.
He priced that truck over 20 grand? It needed a lot of body work for the price of a decent restored truck. Makes me wonder about some of his other "great" vehicles.
It was all staged for the show. You can look back at other times he sold the same type truck for 8k but for this episode its 20k, just to feed his ego and make him look generous.
Should have built the Blue 57 instead.... Not enough of the 55 left 🤔 ....
