    The correct use of SVN is to checkout local, init a git repo, do all your work in git local, merge to main and then commit to SVN.
    Which worked well for me 11 or so years ago when we were on SVN and before that, Visual Source Safe (the horror)

    I had to do a double-take when I saw you made a video about Subversion. I used svn in the '90s and early 2000's. Then I moved on to hg (mercurial) and loved that for about 10 years until vendors pretty much started to ignore it and everyone went full on git. I thought hg worked much easier than git. But yeah, svn was my first scc way back in the day!
