Finally. I had the toughest time blending & mixing the blue gray. It kept coming back muddy. I'm pretty happy with my results. Thank you Clive for your time, your skills, your patience, and so much more.
Thank you so much Clive, I learned so much while doing this painting and I'm so happy I'm learning. I'm loving all your videos and your detailed explanations! Thank you so much for your work. I'm happy I found your channel.
I enjoyed this very much. I'm still very new to painting. I'm not a very patience person and seem to like the more simple ones. This one was perfect for me. Thanks, Clive!
I loved this project! I actually ended up extremely pleased with the end result...I've always wanted to paint but never knew where to start. You are absolutely amazing and a total hoot...I look forward to many more lessons!
I love this so much. It was fun to paint and it has such a wonderful "feel" to it. I was inspired right away as soon as I saw the video. I painted your other cat video "Cat in Moonlight" The two paintings will hang together on my wall. Thank you Clive, for all of your videos. From Indiana USA
Well I can't thank you enough I actually joined in and completed the cat and the moon hip hip. I almost finished it but I hadn't put tape on so the bottom got a bit messy. In the end I gessod over the whole thing and started again. It doesn't look much like your one although the cat is good but I shall get myself some pearl essence and have another go. I did intend to put it on FB but I don't feel it's good enough as there are some real good pieces of art on there which I love to look at. Thank you once again for the great lesson xx
Julia Keats WAHOO great o see your having fun i have loads of these types of painting go to the playlist section on my web page www.clive5art.co.uk go try them out
Hi Clive ! I thank you very very much. I'm fifty and I began painting right one month ago. Thankful to you, following your video, I'm trying to paint for the first time in my life. I madre the one with the three african girls a d the one with Buddha. I Wish I could show them to you!!!!!!
So glad I saw this! Was working so hard on correcting a cityscape and then I saw your video and remembered to keep it fun!? If not what's all the work for, thanks Clive
Love this one, definitely going to give this one a try! I love your calm, gentle voice. Very relaxing to watch you paint, thank you from Connecticut,USA
Well i can't thank you enough Clive I almost finished and gesoed over it and I'm quite happy with my second attempt. I shall get myself some pearl essence and have another try I'm hoping to put the next one one FB that's a big hope as I'm very new at this and there really is some great talent on there I really enjoyed the great lesson thank you once again xx
I love it, I have done a couple similar to this one and also one of a hare jumping across the moon, I wish I had made copies of them because they sold on my etsy store pretty quickly, thanks so much for sharing
As an owner of a black Cat, I really like it and I am going to try to paint it-but I probably will opt for a more simple moon.yes, I got to make things mine. I'm a beginner and not ready to just paint my own paintings rendered from something around me yet.
Yes, I appreciate all you artists' words of wisdom. Yes, I really enjoy painting ,almost too much, but yes I would like to get good at it too someday, lol. It takes away my stress and it teaches me patience. And I have always appreciated good art in any style. Thanks again for your instruction/tutorials; I enjoy many of you artists here.
Maybe I should watch these videos ahead and actually get all the paint I need. Didn't have pearlecent at hand. Which is of course the only reason why mine doesn't look well enough to acutally sell. ;) The blending looks much better than with the deer sunset one I did two weeks ago. Thank you for the video.
I don't have the pearlescent on hand and it will be procure one during this lockdown...but I am a baker and I have some edible pearl lustre dust on hand. Could I mix that into the paint?
Uuggghhhh! This painting is making me insane! Mostly it's the value changes. I can't seem to make blue gray, I've painted the rings on several canvases just to paint over with gesso, which would be fine but my dumb arse used so much paint on the rings it left the moon having a deep edge. I am attempting it one more time. If I cannot get it to work I'm gonna toss it!
I have started to do that in the descriptions to the new videos I am working my way through the old ones but takes time with over 300 + if you get stuck please ask I'll help where I can thanks Clive
Hi there Clive, I just started in the acrylics and I was so surprised that your paints seemed to stay wetter so much longer then mine. That was the struggle with it for me, I am used to the oils. But watching you it seems to stay wet soooooooo much longer and I used the things you can for retarding it and medium. My painting that I did, is on PMP it is complete but I want to try another one and see if I can get used to this medium better. Oils soooo messy and clean up is not fun. That is why I am trying this and I did watercolors too, which at least did not frustrate me as much. LOL Well any suggestions and where did you get the mister bottle that is so fine, any art store?? since you are quite far from me. If you belong to PMP check out my first painting?? Hope to hear back soon. Thanks for all your videos. I am so glad there are these on line since I don't have the finance to go for formal lessons and my Dad who was a great oil painter, Past away before he could transfer all his knowledge over to me, So sad!! Many years ago, so I am so happy for all the video to show all the different ways to use products and to learn different way to do paintings. Sorry this is so long. Loved the little Moon Light Cat.!!

Just paint to enjoy and don’t feel any pressure to create master peace’s as that will come naturally as you improve

Hi Clive just finished your abstract cat, it was alot of fun, I was wondering if u could do a stonehenge painting?

No doubt you do make it look easy. However I am learning from my "happy mistakes".
Mistakes are just a mist before success
