My first Case bought back in 1970 grew legs and walked away..(yes, someone stole it). Only had it for 3 years, but it sold me on Case knives. Bought my current Case about 12 years ago. It gets daily use, every day. From scoring wood I'm working on to cutting string, cheese, meat and who know what else. The blade shows the ware too. I'd love to be able to send it back to Case to be refurbished, but first off, I can't part with it. Second reason, well I can't part with it. It will just have to show the scares of being used. Oh, by the way, it is SHARP! I use it so much it gets sharpened very often. Ya, the blade is worn down some. It will still outlast my life. I did try other knives, but they just didn't hold up. Blades got lose and wobbly, handles came apart. My Case knife heavily used is still like knew, other than the blade being worn. Tight fitting, no wobble, solid knife.
I just acquired three case knives and the more I look at them the more I like them. Never gave them the time a day before actually handling one. I’m a emerson, ZT, Benchmade type guy. Didn’t realize how collectible and nice they are. I sold the hobo I had but still have two Russ locks and I really like the rosewood one. Classy.
Beautiful knives ! My wife recently bought me my first Case, a Trapper, in smooth orange bone for a significant b'day. Proceeded to dress a limit of big Eastern Grey squirrels with it. A treat to behold and use, as you already know.
The thing I just love about your videos, Kyle, is your sense of gratitude and genuine pleasure. You obviously realize just how blessed you are, and it's wonderful to listen to you expressing your appreciation. So many RUclips "stars" take everything for granted, but you don't. I love that.
thanks so much Pete. Your words are very kind, my friend. I hope I never lose an attitude of humility and appreciation. I think we all need to relax and let out a little 'kid' behavior at times, and just HAVE FUN. Thanks for watching Pete!
I think I like the first one the best. I like that whole line with the blue bone and red shield. They are all beautiful but both blue ones really stand out.
As a child, my grandfather gave me my first fixed blade knife when I joins the boy scouts. Sadly, I lost the knife on a hike and have been looking for a knife like it for more than 30 years. All I had to go by was my memory and the sheath which was too worn to read anything. I stumbled across the case website and saw the knife! It’s the Case 381 hunter!!! I’m so excited and Case is an amazing company!
Those are sweet. I had an old Case knives that was given to me by my GrandFather in the 70's and I recently moved and can't find it anymore...Thanks for the unboxing and yes Case knives are GREAT!
Like a kid in a candy shop, and told he gets to have 4 different kinds. Love it. You have some very good looking knives there, i love the different colors .
Love the wharncliffe. I have the same one. It's a heck of a good leather working knife and a great EDC. I love how thin it is, but it's still quality and is super solid.....not to mention how great it looks. It goes in my back pocket and just disappears.
Talk about a collection booster! Another class move by a class company. Check out the Case Russlock knife for the ladies in your life. It is a single locking blade pocket knife with a drop point blade. It meets the 3" minimum blade length so they can carry it in a purse in most jurisdictions. The cool part about this knife is a metal "gimped lever" on the end that you use to open the knife - no more broken/chipped nails while opening! My wife and mother love theirs.
I'm leaning toward the chestnut - I just like the look of a more traditional handle material. All are beautiful in their own respect and I really like those decals!!!!! Great video.
Absolutely beautiful. I do not, and have never owned a Case but that will have to change. You'd probably be interested to know that I'm only about 40 minutes from the Zippo/Case museum and manufacturing facility down in Bradford. Might have to take another drive down there come spring and pick up a pocket knife. Any time I've been there I was just looking at and buying zippo's. Beautiful knives for sure. You (are) one lucky dude.
Just ordered my first case, a Jigged bone kickstart trapperlock. Something about the beauty of these traditional knives thats my benchmades and other tactical knives dont have.
I love Case knives and have a large collection. The Copperlock, mini Copperlock, and Trapperlock are some of my favorites. Pick up a Trapperlock or a Russlock and you will not be dissapointed. That is "Bermuda Green" on the last one. How lucky you are to have been given a gift like these from Case. I am planning to visit the Case facility in Bradford, Pennsylvania (my home state). Check out their Case Select series and Limited Edition series. Beauties all of them!
I am certainly fortunate to have met such people and companies, but I have also worked hard to be in such a place. I think i'll pick up a slimline trapper soon!
Case knives are owned by Zippo Lighters, if you are ever in the Bradford PA area, it is worth a stop at their factory store / museum. Self tour and very, very interesting. If you have a broken Zippo take it with you, they will fix it free while you are there.
Those r dam good knifes. I’ve had a lot of case knifes over the years. I live 45 minutes away from the case factory. They r not hard to find in my area
These are my favorite knives, all made in America. Most knife makers have some, most , or all of their knives made in places of near slave labor wages. There is never any question of where your Case knife was made. That is important to me. Great video Kyle!
I like the quality, they obviously know what is a nice knife. I like and I know there is a name for it but on the handle there is a kind of guard that stops your fingers from slipping onto the blade. I also like the fact that the blades locks in place and the wood grain handle would be my favourite as a classical look
Your video was a pleasure to watch. Your spirit of gratitude and genuine appreciation is a pleasure to listen to. I Just bought the green mini copperlock and it is beautiful. I’m kind of a knife nerd and have many from a lot of different makers. I’ve always liked the classic folder. Case makes a very high quality knife at a reasonable price.
Haven't seen any so far. I live in Thailand. We can get SAK, Opinel, and some Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, Cold Steel, Kershaw, Ganzo and have seen few CRK and Strider. But no Case, GEC, Northwoods or Rough Riders. The import duty makes them mostly expensive here though.
Wow! Congrats, those are all beautiful works of art! My favorite would be the navy blue because of color, size and shape. Summer loves the green one ☺ Great video *T4S*
I’ve really enjoyed your videos Kyle. Your humbleness and appreciation for these Case knives is so genuine. I’ve never owed a Case but your videos make me want to go get one! Keep up the quality vids because I’m learning so much about sharpening knives. Thanks!
Thank you Art! Case makes a wonderful knife. You need to open that brand new box and pull out your fresh sparkling knife to really understand the joy they provide!
You were like a kid in a candy store! I loved watching you open up the box. Stay humble my friend. I also favored the indigo blue. Might get one for my best friend and my boyfriend. As always I’ve enjoyed your reviews. Happy New Year!
haha thanks Manda! How could you not be 'kid-like' when getting a big box of goodies like this? It's so much fun! Happy new year :-) You will be the 'friend and girlfriend of the year' if you get them one of these!
Knives like benchmade with super steels are difficult to stand up to but when it comes to fit and finish beautiful polished blades and handle materials it's hard to beat a case
The large copperlock standard clip is my all time favorite case knife. I've dressed deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasant and many apples with it lol also makes a fine impromptu whittling blade. Perfect for edc chores as well cv or ss.
Awesome Awesome Awesome!!!! Really cool decals definitely shop worthy decals. Those case knives are beautiful!! I’d have to go with the navy. The first one.
Lucky you. I have a Tribal Lock as an EDC. I really like that warncliff Copperlock. I might have to add one to my collection. I've been collecting Case knives for years.
I dont think I could bring myself to ever use one of these ! They are simply so beautiful. Good for you Kyle, you have a great start to an entire Case collection.
Don't be mistaken buddy, these knives were made to WORK! Case knives are very tough, with over a century of refining built in. But, I know what you mean; they're so pretty! haha
Most knife companies these days no matter how good the steel dont come close to the pure nostalgia of a case knife just because they go the extra mile to make them look beautiful. Its about the art that goes into them that simple joy of using one
Chestnut bone for me, love the classy craftsmanship. Got to get one to match my son's! Very tempted to use his haha. Very good of Case to support a Newfoundland RUclipsr.
Also , the tribal is my fave of the four. My favorite overal is a complete set of stag purchased in the early 90s. There really are no finer pocket knives than WRCase
All Gorgeous Kyle and Couldnt Have Gone to a Better Fella ! Case are Top Notch and obviously a class act company, enjoy !;,;,;,;, happy new year !;,;,;,Spook...P.S. Definitely Indigo for me as well !
That Tribal Lock is gorgeous... I just ordered my first Case knife a few days ago (Green Jigged Bone Sowbelly Stockman). It's not even here yet, but I've been looking for my next one, already. And the Tribal Lock is most definitely next up. SOON. Cool unboxing of some very sexy, very classic knives.
Kyle, I am the proud owner of several mini-copperlocks, a navy blue tribal lock, and have a navy blue copperlock Boy Scouts of America (from Hero Canada) on order. I am totally enamoured with Case traditionals, especially in that dark blue bone. Have you looked at any of the RussLock folders from Case? I guess it's a good tradition, Guess I've followed them by doing the same thing with my grandsons. Yes that Indigo colored knife sure is sweet.
From the new knives I liked the navy blue tribal lock best but i liked your trapper even more that being said I have wanted a plain old Sodbuster for a while but here in Ontariible they are not common I guess I just need to start online buying -Cheers great vid knives of our fathers ROCK
Kyle Noseworthy - Weiderfan Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this earlier... the "BUR" on green Mini-Copperlock box stands for "Burmuda". I have one of their Burmuda Green Swayback Jack's. Beautiful color. Take care! - Jim

Thats a great story Gary! I love my case knives as well. Theyre so classy.
Man.. almosts makes me want to set my spydies and benchmades aside for my grandpas knife.. there's something awesome about them
Never! Not that I don't like Case knives, I own a bunch. You can have both!
Classy.

Love that Case is still at the top of their game! Got my dad's & granddad's (very) old Case knives & they remain great knives. Super video.
I think I like the first one the best. I like that whole line with the blue bone and red shield. They are all beautiful but both blue ones really stand out.
I’m a HUGE Case collector so this video got me watching your channel I have come to admire and respect you greatly God bless you and your family
Love the copperlock series
they're brilliant!
The Copperlocks are superb! You should try the Swayback or the Seahorse Whittler!
I prefer the black and green one. Beautiful piece of functional art!!
Have to agree with your favorite, green covers are stunning!
Those are sweet. I had an old Case knives that was given to me by my GrandFather in the 70's and I recently moved and can't find it anymore...Thanks for the unboxing and yes Case knives are GREAT!
Too bad you lost it man.. a treasure for sure. Get yourself a new one! A treat for being you! :-)
I will for sure, I was going to give it to my son, I am not getting any younger, even if I am still in shape...62 still is 62...lol
haha Let me know which model you get my friend! 62 is a spring chicken!
Like a kid in a candy shop, and told he gets to have 4 different kinds. Love it. You have some very good looking knives there, i love the different colors .
Thanks Wesley! haha I feel pretty special when something like this happens. Case and their people are total gems!

They're amazing Ken! I know I'm a lucky dude, but look at the cool situation you have there! You actually get to visit Case! I'd love to one day!
All four knives look great, but the burnt indigo looks like a work of art. Just incredible.

i would go with the Burned green then your pocket worn.

Love all of them. Favorite would be the 2 blue knives. Can't pick any closer than that.
Very cool knives. I really liked the blue one with the red shield.
Burnt indigo, same as you like. Now I got to go and buy one. Love it.
Do it! You won't regret it!

Wow, people seem to really like the brown AJ!
The research is more than a pleasant way to burn a few hours, and they come in all the colours that you seem to like. (Check Hero Canada...no duty, border crossing hassles...and no, I have no connection, but they seem to have over a thousand Case knives in stock).
I'll check it out! I do know a little about the russlocks!
Those are some pretty knives alright, i need to get one or few some day.
