Much informative, Gaurav. Great work. I can only imagine how much effort it takes to create these videos. Keep it up. One question: At 1:42 you put something on the branches, what is that? Thanks.
Thank you so much, Vajrasar 😊🙌👍 I am sure you have your area of expertise and you also do what needs to be done while you enjoy the whole experience, similarly for me, its more fun than work I guess 😀😉🙏 That's Cinnamon Powder and why I have been using it for years now, works great as a fungicide (in this case, helped the wounded part heal better) and even helped with the rooting during propagation (all you got to do is scar the cutting and dip it in a solution of cinnamon powder and water for about 2-3 hours before putting them in the soil). Please make sure you stay tuned and look forward to your questions, feedback, and suggestions in the future as well. Cheers!!
Adenium Masterclass: BIGGER, THICKER & WIDER Caudex INSTANTLY Ft. Roots (Exposed) Tips & Hacks Pt 2 Today you will see 2 Adeniums and how they performed after I exposed the roots of one of them and started another one from a cutting. Something really interesting coming up as we will see their naked roots. And that’s not it, we will talk about soil quality, flowering, sunlight requirements, watering schedule, fertilizer, and how to make sure they stay healthy and ready for years to come. Hey Plant Lover, how you doinnnnnn!!! Welcome back, hope things are pretty great in your garden, and your life. Well, here are 2 Adeniums, if you will call one the parent and the other the baby. Now of course I will run a short video right at the start of the video where you will know all about these 2 plants and then we start the second and latest part in the series: Adenium Masterclass. The older video has some 8K views, so its clear that not all of you have seen it, first link in the description will take you there. Watch it first or after this video, up to you and yes, please make sure if you are an Adenium parent, you check out the whole set of Adenium videos in the playlist. Let us start now, yes, LIKE, SHARE & SUBSCRIBE. Here’s the recap of how these plants came to be. Some background, this Adenium was in a pot and the roots went wild and broke open the pot, so I did what I had and started this Adenium, roots all exposed, and got the main branch to start another one. Plants are looking good, after 2 weeks, they have been in shade, were watered every 3 days and no fertilizer was added. The stems and leaves are looking great and great sign for both the plants. Love the trunk on the parent plant, like you I had expected it to go a little dry and become harder with some kind of coverage but it still looks like a part of the root. One exercise to an Adenium can give you such an illusion of thicker caudex and over time it would be a caudex, storing water and driving flowering and giving the plant a distinct look. Now is the time to let these plants be in full sun, and add some organic fertilizer, of course, removed away from the stems. From here on, start watering once every 7 days in the evenings. 4 months into the process and we have two well-established Adeniums and after the exposure of the roots, flowering for the first time. The smaller one is also showing some buds, however, I am aware they won't materialize into flowers at least for another 6 months or so. I know you have been waiting for this, let us get the roots out and see what’s going on inside the pot. Mind you, Adeniums don’t mind repotting and pruning at all, if done right, these processes would help the plant grow better and aggressively, so don’t wait or fear, just know the process and go for it. And every once in a while you should pull these out of the pots, to make sure the roots are in perfect health, and the soil is in great condition. If the roots look somewhat infected, all you have to do is make a clean cut and get rid of the infected part, that might not be it but at least you will have time to figure out more about the problem. Give the potting mix a smell to know the quality of it, and a moist, earthy smell is good, but if it smells funny you know you got some work to do. Change the soil and keep the plant under observation for a week after and in shade, then sun and water, the plant is ready for recovery. Time to get these plants into the pots and time for you to head to the Adenium playlist, link in the description. If you have any questions, feedback, or suggestions, please share your comments, and we will discuss them. Thank you for your time and support. I wish you luck and energy, stay safe, and stay healthy. Cheers! Goodbye!!

Love the video. I pruned the feeder roots off my new adenium when I raised it, because I’m new and didn’t know what to do. I reget it so much. I have since put back more potting mix in an attempt to grow back these roots. Will they grow back. I love the look, just like your one in the video. Thanks and I would greatly appreciate a reply.
Hi Gaurav ,thank you for the informative training on the Desert Rose ,just would like to inform that i reside in South Africa and collect succulents and cacti .Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge .
Hi, thank you for teaching us. I noticed you left all the aerial roots on instead of cutting them off. Please let us know why you are leaving them on. I only ask because other people cut the tiny ones off. I was gifted 5 seedlings off Etsy for Christmas. I am a nervous new adenium mama lol

If the said Adenium is older than 5 years old, any month would be just fine however if the plant is younger, try to add DAP during cooler months and in the evenings! So my advice would be to wait until the rains are over if you are expecting a monsoon right after the ongoing summer months. If there is anything else, please let me know and we can talk more on this topic.
I am so scared of changing pots of my plants, you make it look so easy. But I think it's a tough job. You are doing great. Thanks for sharing. 🌿💚🌳 Sending some questions soon on your Instagram DM.

Hi, gardening with yash saxena! Have you cut your Adenium seedlings??? How old are these SEEDLINGS? And why did you cut them if they are just seedlings?
@@gardening__yash.saxena_- Alright, it should take not more than 2-3 weeks to see some new branches starting out around the area you have cut! Please keep the plant in shade and water every 3-4 days in the evenings. Hope you covered the wound nicely with cinnamon so that pests don't attack that area. And once you see some new branches, you can keep the plant in full sun and now start watering once every 7 days. Thank you!
Much informative, Gaurav. Great work. I can only imagine how much effort it takes to create these videos. Keep it up. One question: At 1:42 you put something on the branches, what is that? Thanks.
Thank you so much, Vajrasar 😊🙌👍
I am sure you have your area of expertise and you also do what needs to be done while you enjoy the whole experience, similarly for me, its more fun than work I guess 😀😉🙏
That's Cinnamon Powder and why I have been using it for years now, works great as a fungicide (in this case, helped the wounded part heal better) and even helped with the rooting during propagation (all you got to do is scar the cutting and dip it in a solution of cinnamon powder and water for about 2-3 hours before putting them in the soil).
Please make sure you stay tuned and look forward to your questions, feedback, and suggestions in the future as well. Cheers!!

And more importantly, the plant has been kind to me, allows me to work, and makes me look like an expert 😃🙌

Thank you.
Why don't you cut smal/thin roots on the Caudex so one can see the beautiful shape?
Is this an obesum or arabicum variety?
Can we use dap in this month
If the said Adenium is older than 5 years old, any month would be just fine however if the plant is younger, try to add DAP during cooler months and in the evenings!
So my advice would be to wait until the rains are over if you are expecting a monsoon right after the ongoing summer months.
If there is anything else, please let me know and we can talk more on this topic.

Hi, gardening with yash saxena!
Have you cut your Adenium seedlings??? How old are these SEEDLINGS? And why did you cut them if they are just seedlings?
How is your channel going, looks good! More power and energy to you, brother! Cheers!!
@@GauravChhikaraGardenDubai
I try to make more branches
@@GauravChhikaraGardenDubai
Thanks sir
@@gardening__yash.saxena_- Alright, it should take not more than 2-3 weeks to see some new branches starting out around the area you have cut!
Please keep the plant in shade and water every 3-4 days in the evenings. Hope you covered the wound nicely with cinnamon so that pests don't attack that area.
And once you see some new branches, you can keep the plant in full sun and now start watering once every 7 days. Thank you!
I thought the branch should be left for 10 days before planting
Wowww 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much 🥰❣️😍👍🙏
I just don’t believe they grew so much after only 2weeks…
