One step further I go with the order is setting a stop loss and profit taker so that I set hard rules for myself. Learned that lesson after losing most of my account in 2021

and how would you close this put spread? I guess in the logic of Interactive Brokers you'd do a sell ticket in order to buy it back and type negative numbers in it...?

They made that too complicated in my opinion. Is opening a spread always done with a 'buy' ticket where credit spreads are 'bought' with negative number limits and debit spreads with positive limit values? If that is true I guess all spreads can be closed by using sell tickets but again, credit spreads using negatives limit prices and debit spreads using positive limits.
