12:41 Just a nice tip for this section, when you have started the MOVE action, you can press TAB on a line you wish to use as a "rail" to move and it will lock on that line.
@@danieljohn4014 By rail I mean to select a line that you would like to align the movement with... this can be anything, an edge of another object etc... and you press tab and then it snaps the movement to that line ie rail... Hope it makes more sense :)
2:25:52 - for Rhino 8 users, the clipping plane now has different points to snap to. I had to draw a vertical line to get the orientation for the new y axis
thanks was struggling with this as i wasnt able to snap to the corners of the clipping plane on Rhino8. Is the only way to draw lines from the centre of the clipping plane and snapping to that? Does it matter that the c-plane doesnt start on the bottom left corner of the clipping plane?
@@ravyna95 That was the only workaround I could find - maybe Gediminas has a better method and can chime in on this. As far as I know it makes no difference to have the origin of the c-plane on a different point as long as the x and y axes are oriented correctly.
Hi! This is literally the best channel, you teach with such patience and passion! Thank you for such quality content. Would you be uploading 2023 Update for Grasshopper as well? I would love to see that! Regards!
i discovered him late last year and he gives me so much hope, Im an architect in iraq and we're severly falling behind when it comes to design and construction technologies so this channel is a great window to new architectural knowledge. I definitely hope he makes an updated introduction course for Grasshopper or even UE5
how i can update how can i download the official software please show me the exact link because i have already tested the wonder dynamics link but i got viruses at the start of the download
This is a helpful tutorial, especially for someone transitioning from ArchiCAD. I have a question about the part at [1:40:00] when you use the bounding box for the stair. Does this also scale up the flight and rest thickness from 200 mm to an unconventional thickness? Do we need to redo the two lines with the loft situation? Additionally, I'm curious if there will be more advanced tutorials on designing with Rhino in the future. You're definitely one of the best Rhino arch youtubers out there!
Ye - I can extract architectural drawings that can directly be used to get a building permit / sent to builders/engineers for a quote. Blender is for visuals, Rhino is for manufacturing.
Anyone else has problems with the control points of things like SubD geometry when gediminas was explaining how to make the landscape or when he changed the cplane to clipping plane, i am clicking on the surface but it goes through and doesnt let me click
hello, I wanted to ask, When using the offset command after creating a crystalline (think diamond shaped building) structure using the surface from 3 points, so just joined triangles, how do u create a clean offset? because when you offsetsrf the triangles overlap each other and it isn't clean, is there a way of fixing this? or a way to redo the structure, would you recommend using subD then creasing the edges?
Hi, sorry I'm trying to find the file and open it in the downloads section of your patreon but I'm struggling to open it... I might be doing something really stupid but how do you open it?

good job
I love your English intricacies. You reached for the word "thick" and came up with "beefiness". You are a poet.
clearly all planned~

you mean tab + left click?
don't get what you mean by rail

i feel very happy when i see a new upload from you, I hope you enjoy making them just as much :)
I do! I get tired after recording a 6-7 hour video, so it might not look like it, but I actually really like making these kind of videos :)
@@DesignGoBrr dont worry you always look great :)
also any architect who isnt exhausted by the end of the day is bizarre 😂
This has been a helpful tutorial. Thank you. I've been using sketchup and revit, but I definitely live the curves on Rhino

Thank you for the course. Creating a sequel would significantly enhance its value.
This whole channel is a sequel to it!
@@DesignGoBrr as a student of architecture it will be great and more helpful if u teach us more architectural design in Rhino
That's great to see this part 2. It was much awaited. Thank You so much for teaching Sir
My pleasure! :)
Man, I really love this guy tutorial!
I appreciate that!

Nothing important changed in Grasshopper since 2019.. Waiting for Grashhopper 2 to make a large (50+ videos) series once it's released.

thank you so much for your time and effort in making these tutorials they really help :)

Thanks for the hack! It works without any problems

Again thank you 🙏 so much
thanks for your informative videos, but where can i download the dwg files ?
the best channel ever
Favolosa 😍,Tremendously terrific
You are a legend.
Yeaahhhh! Tks bro! Tks so much !
Hey nice tutorial. I have a question: Is there anything you can do in this or similar architectural modeling program that cannot be done in Blender?
Ye - I can extract architectural drawings that can directly be used to get a building permit / sent to builders/engineers for a quote. Blender is for visuals, Rhino is for manufacturing.
This hack is better than a cheat code from the '90s. No Game Genie needed!
Thanks for this course, really helpful! Just wondering is it better to use Make2D and then use layout versus just using the 3d models to layout ?
Silly question but can i have the song of the background ? It’s good for studying thank youuu
Thank you so much for this
No problem 😊
I am also a fan of glass facades. and there are many youtube products about it.
It was a very strange video, thank you for sharing it with us
thanks bhai it is very amazing video
Is there a place to find, like a list of all the instructions; mirror, offset and the rest
very very helpful!!!
Is the landscape .dwg still available somewhere?
Great videos!..
They're part of the file archive that the patreon supporters get access to

Thanks for this tutorial! - Is the .dwg available somewhere to download and follow along?
It's available to the Patreon supporters of the channel (there's a database where every single file made/used in the videos is placed)
@2:58:07 🤣 welcome to the club GEDI!
Thank you so much ❤️
No worries!

Hey! Can I follow this tutorial with Rhino 8? Thanks!
Absolutely! The tools are the same
Thank you so much :))
but at 3:11:25 what if I disable the annotation style's "layout space scaling" feature? is there any problem with that.
That would mean that the text will stay the same size between your viewport and your layout. Some people prefer it this way :)
Where can I find the dwg file that you imported?
really good :)
Glad you liked it!
very well
Solid💪
I could not believe this is true
respect
This hack is my game treasure map!
Hi, sorry I'm trying to find the file and open it in the downloads section of your patreon but I'm struggling to open it... I might be doing something really stupid but how do you open it?
nice tutor
Where can I see download Dwg files in this course
how do i download the dwg file for the landscape?
It's available for the patreon supporters (of 10 USD or above). Basically you then get access to all files that are shown in this channel.
Where is downloadable DWG file

2:26:02 yeah in rhino 8 they managed to make it even worse lol
where I can get the dwg file?
Should be available on patreon together with all other files that were created for the channel.
