Wow😍
60) Garth Brooks- the thunder rolls
I don't think I've heard Garth Brooks The thunder roads. Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🔫
5 seconds play: 'i don't know this'
the chorus plays: 'ok i do know this!'

What about "Walking on the Sun"? Haha I heard that before seeing Shrek and before Smash Mouth became a living meme
AHAHHAHA SAMEEE
90s songs full of meme songs tho
It do be like that
No joke. At this point when i hear “What’s goin on?!” I immediately think of he-man.
Or as some of us know them, elementary school - high school. I was 6-15. 😋
No, meme song are full of 90s

I picked up on it too...shame on us all.

U can't disagree: 90's has the most iconic shit ever
It has some iconic songs definitely, most iconic?? No I don’t think so. I’d say the 70s has the most iconic stuff, IMO.
"Shit" is correct.
@@CollectorsCorner777 Well said, sir! The decade was all about ego over talent.
@@Agnethatheredhairkid Lol, that's all decades.
@@sexysadie2901 True to a point, Sadie. But at least before the 1990s, talent mattered a little. The 1990s was not so much about talent as about image.
Thank you for putting metal in. This was an amazing time for metal. Even better Rammstein was in.
14:14 i was like tf is doing minaj here, lmao
OMG I THOUGHT THAT TOO xD

You poor babies. How can you not know the most well known ode to big asses in music?
I can only take so much feeling old at the age of 19 please don’t do this to me
I can sing all the songs and I know all the lyrics, but I'm having trouble getting the names right.
Damn, I guess I really am getting old
Haha yeah
im ten and I know half of these.
Well Idk about you but back in the 90s I knew a lot of these and I also had trouble naming all of them lol

paha me too
Definitely I love this song
Unsurprising, since your screen name includes two Nirvana song titles.
Here we are now, entertain us 😁
What do you mean, these songs came out like yesterday.
Seriously tho how fast time passes..
no Selena Quintanilla, Green Day, or Red Hot Chili Peppers

Right
And ALICE IN CHAINS😭
Chili Peppers are needed.
exactly dude u missed the good shit
Queen
Michael Jackson
RHCP
Green Day
Alice In Chains
Smashing Pumpkins
?
Pretty much nailed all the rock/grunge/alternative stuff. Missed most of the club/r&b/rap, but got a few of the better-known ones. Surprised at the selection there -- I expected maybe Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, or Crystal Method in that mix. Love these quizzes tho.

I lost it that song is my weakness
Finally a 90s guess that song with some METAL!!!!

For real tho
At 3:10 did anyone else say he-man?
My husband and I couldn’t remember the name nor the artist and we both said he-man at the same time 😂
Yep
Me to haha
Seriously? This list is incomplete without:
Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
Suede - Beautiful Ones
Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know
Greenday - Basket Case
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop
Paula Cole - I Don't Want to Wait
Tina Arena - Burn
Joan Osborne - One of Us
Madonna - Frozen
Daft Punk - Around the World
Hanson - Mmm bop
The Moffats - Miss You Like Crazy
M2M - Pretty Boy
Sheryl Crow - All I Wanna Do
Natalie Imbruglia - Torn
Lisa Loeb - Stay
The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony
Etc
My Heart Will Go On was in there, actually. I was surprised not to see Smashing Pumpkins or Counting Crows at all, too.
And country songs like Shania twain or faith hill
Michael Jackson clearly was missing
Where was Sweet dreams-Eurythmics or Tainted Love-Soft Cell
Can’t Stop is from 2002
I would like to take a moment to THANK Leroy's Library for all of the time, effort and mindfulness you have put into the creation of this quiz. I am extremely appreciative to hear these 90's songs that *you chose.* You deserve much more praise than you are receiving... AMAZING WORK, thank you! :-) ~Christie

12:02 I am german and I recognized this song immediately xD
same, wie kann man Rammstein auch nicht erkennen :D
Bin auch deutsch😂
Rammstein is so obvious when you're studying German
I was a teenager in the '90s, and I barely remembered any of these, except Backstreet Boys and the "Titanic" theme (which is burned forever into my mind). Then again, I was much more into pop than alternative or hard rock...both of which seem to make up the majority of this list. I was very surprised that you ended with Garth Brooks, though.
I wasn't even guessing I was just singing along to all the songs! My childhood!

I love your inclusion of The Thunder Rolls and Black Hole Sun! Great quiz, I only missed about 5.
19:00 my heart just took a leap, OMG! The thunder rolls by Garth Brooks! One of many great song of his
One of the most recognizable would be November Rain by Guns N Roses
right!! sweet child o' mine would be even more recognizable but appetite for destruction came out in '87 so it cant be in this video lol

Can I just say thank you so much To the creator of this video I’ve already seen two of your videos on trivia and I appreciate that you incorporate different genres of music into the mix I love rock and it made me so happy to see some of my favorite songs in the lists . Oh my god i have a highlighted comment and its has a heart thanks so much!!
Umm... Excuse me? Where was Green Day?
I know, right?
I don’t know but WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS
@Ethan Ashin that's one of my favourite songs ever, but that's 00s. I had no space in the quiz to get green day in there, and even then I could've picked 4 songs (Basket Case, Welcome To Paradise, When I Turn Around & Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life))

This quiz only proves that the 90s is the last great decade in music. It is also the decade with the most diversity in musical styles all bein played in mainstream music channels, radio stations and music festivals.
The greatest was the 70s
Nar tbh 2000s is the best
@@dylangray8502 Early 2000s still had it, but by the mid 00s it's like you could watch the death of good music happening in real time.

03:02 The Cranberries "Zombie" from the album "No Need To Argue" was the third single, released in September 1994. The Single peaked the charts also in 1994.
The second single "Linger" peaked in 1993.
04:53 Boyz II Men - "End of the Road" was released in June 1992 - peaked the charts in the same year.
07:11 Rednex - "Cotton Eye Joe" peaked the charts in September 1994.
Thanks for the information.
I was doing so good until the last few minutes there was so much rap and r&b which I know very little / nothing about
I think, if you lived in the 90s as a teen or adult, especially if you listened to music, you wouldn’t help but get these. They were mostly huge hits or iconic.
My teenage years. Also my favorite decade of music.
*Except for the Macarena and Barbie song. Ugh.
There was some wierd songs in the 90s. Like the thong song, cooten eye Joe, I'm too sexy and that earworm that is barbie girl.

Whooo, nice. Thank's for the trip back into my twenties.
And big thx for not taking too much eurodance or boygroups into this compilation ;-)
Great quiz, but some of the question samples were way too silent and after I crank up the volume..the answer samples were way too loud. :( Otherwise..I did pretty good...although I've lost the count. :D
Yeah sorry about that
8:30 INSTANTLY earned my respect. Meat Loaf doesn't get enough press or respect. Awesome artist who should be in the HOF.
I saw him in 2001 and it was one of the most memorable shows I've seen!
I did this solo and drunk and had a hell of a night!!
The variety btw 😍😍
I grew up in the 2000's and I could guess all these songs!

Lmaooooo
This was my dad's favorite song when he was a teenager
Hallelujah was originally Leonard Cohen and was released in 1984, the Jeff Buckley version is a cover...
Indeed
Correct, but this is a 90’s quiz, so Leonard’s version would be out of place...
And the cover sounds twice as good
Every time I hear " U Can't Touch This", I can't help but think of that scene on "In Living Color" where Tommy Davidson did a parody of this song.
Now, I laugh whenever I hear this song or even watch the music video.
I think I missed 25 of them. But once music stopped coming out on 45s, I started to lose interest. For the most part, a fair quiz. Much better than the 80s quiz.
Tim Neely that's not even bat tho haha
I was born in the 90’s and I know more 80’s then 90’s

This quiz is going to be hard for almost everyone. In the 70s quiz, anyone alive during that time will know all of those songs. Pop and rock weren't as segregated. Even people who hated disco, for example, knew the songs. But in the 90s things were different. If you were a rock fan, you probably never heard most of these pop songs. And if you were a pop fan, you probably never heard most of these rock songs. Just like the 70s, radio was still the dominant medium in the 90s. But somehow...things got separated. Very odd.
